Alarming new traces of 'drilling' have been found on a Soyuz spacecraft docked with the International Space Station, Russian sources revealed today.
Moscow had already hinted at possible sabotage over damage found to the Soyuz MS-09 and a major whodunnit investigation is underway.
Officials have claimed the damage to the spacecraft appears to have been caused by a drill, and could have occurred on the ground pre-launch - or while in orbit.
Now a source close to the Russian space agency Roscosmos has admitted the damage was more extensive than previously thought.
'Traces of drilling have been found not only inside the spacecraft's living compartment,' said the source.
The damage was also 'on the screen of the anti-meteorite shield that covers the spacecraft from the outside and is installed 15 millimetres from the pressurised hull'.

There is no ISS. It is all CGI.
This is a “look, a shiny thing” propaganda story, nothing more.
In Heinlein’s short story “Blowups Happen,” a nuclear power plant must be constantly adjusted or it will explode. This necessitated a psychologist to constantly watch each power plant adjuster and pull him off at the slightest sign of going crazy.
That would make a great movie.

Bigger would be noticed right away, lots of little ones can add up to a sudden major catastrophic failure in that environment.
Just some worker from the old Soviet Union pretending to work because the company is pretending to pay him. Russian high tech stuff is known to be on the shoddy side, but works and is easy to repair; extra holes are a plus because the product is lighter and therefore less expensive to produce ... Russian thinking.
Hope they have a lot of duct tape.
