I’m guessing that she was in the street.
If it was hit-and-run, it was as bad as on-purpose. Driver is in big trouble if caught.
As someone who lived in/on Westwood Drive, {Approx 1/2 mile from Stahley Street} BRENTWOOD, L.I. N.Y., left in the mid 1970's. Nobody wanting to talk, is nothing new. Brentwood was the "arm-pit" of Long Island, now just more of the same spreading across Long Island.
While in High School, (Tenth -12th grade{s}) 1967-1970 we had "ARMED" Suffolk County cops patrolling the hall-way's. We needed them BAD!!!!

Very little new this morning. Driver still not ID’d. Reports are that driver sped up to hit the vic. Another report says driver stayed at the scene and called 911. Nothing official from LE.
Still no ID on the driver.
Wondering if the driver is an illegal....

If we were somehow able to convince MS-13 to hop on the Long Island Expressway to the Upper West Side of Manhattan perhaps the nation’s elite would sit up and pay attention.

What we have in the United States is the continuation of Kalergi’s plan, the destruction of the descendents of white Europeans with indigenous people of Mexico, Central and South America.
I’ve always thought that things won’t change until the elites start losing their own loved ones in these kinds of acts.
...I’m not wishing such an end on any body. Just saying that if empathy drives change, things won’t change until elites have genuine empathy for those that lose their loved ones in these senseless murders.

All....I looked for articles that didn’t say (in headline) the daughter was ALLEGEDLY killed, by MS13.

The mother of a Brentwood teenager who was brutally murdered by MS-13 was killed Friday after she was run over by a driver during a confrontation just before a candlelight vigil honoring her daughter’s memory.
The incident occurred on Stahley Street Friday afternoon, exactly two years from when Nisa Mickens, 15, and Kayla Cuevas, 16, were beaten and stabbed to death.

News 12 was on site before the incident to cover a candlelight vigil planned for the evening. News 12 was told that a memorial to the two girls was set up in front of a home, when a homeowner came out and started to dismantle it.
News 12 cameras were rolling when Evelyn Rodriguez and a man were confronting a female driver in an SUV. It appeared that Rodriguez and the man were yelling at the driver. The man is seen pushing the car.
It was then that the car accelerated and ran over Evelyn Rodriguez. Police say she was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, where she was pronounced dead.
Rep. Peter King, who had been working with Rodriguez on a campaign ad, told News 12 that her death is “almost too tragic to be real.”
Rep. King lauded Rodriguez as an advocate against gang violence in the community.
“It’s too much to believe that so much bad could happen to one good person,” Rep. King told News 12.
Police say the driver stayed at the scene and that no charges have been filed at this time.

The linked article pretty much says the exact same thing - and lays it out as intentional - not sure why that’s being questioned.
As for the semantics of “alleged” - what would you prefer?
They haven’t been to trail yet. When they are convicted - the media will refer to them as “convicted killers.” until then, “alleged killers.”
It’s not like the word “alleged” carries some notion of doubt. Its pre-proof for sure - but doesn’t imply that proof doesn’t existed.
