Vanity: We need Ted Cruz in the Senate.

Posted on 09/15/2018 10:06:43 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

Trump needs him. Texas needs him. If we are going to help Trump move his (our) conservative agenda, then we ALL need him. It would be absolutely insane to have any FReepers working against us on this critical point.

O'Rourke would be a disaster for all of us. If you're going to badmouth Cruz, don't do it on FR!

Go, Trump, GO!!

Go, Cruz, GO!!

Texas is down to 45% white population, it is majority minority. Beto definitely has a shot.

Beto is a white Irish transvestite.
Cruz is Hispanic.

As disappointed as I am with a few things he’s done and said, we do need him in the senate. I agree fully

Thanks, commander. I am so tired of the nastiness any time his name is mentioned. You would think he was John McCain.

Thank you for doing this, Jim.

Time for Trump and Cruz supporters to show a united front. The preservation of our free republic demands it.

Wouldn’t want him for POTUS because the Dims would shred him. He is stellar in the senate. We have to keep him. Maybe we (FR) can be a call bank for him. Someone should contact his campaign with an offer to call bank.

Jim,

Us Californians have sold ourselves short if you ask me. Why is John Cox not even TRYING?! If he did and were compelling enough, he’d at least be closing in on Newsom. People here aren’t as locked into liberalism as one thinks. And there are a lot of registered independents as well as silent conservatives who normally don’t vote and need to be registered. Including (legal) immigrants from all over who go to church and things like that, but don’t normally pay attention to politics.

The problem with the polls is that they’ve become just another Leftist political tool.

Beto is a white Irish transvestite.
Cruz is Hispanic.

That confirms what many of us intuitively discovered; the left recognizes only two races: the liberal and the non-liberal. This hides behind such bizarre positions as holding that Clarence Thomas is not genuinely black while Rachel Dolezal is.

What really gripes me is that a large portion of that demographic shares no love for our United States.

Libs are just better at recruitment and organization and targeting.

Should Conservatives decide to play identity politics on Leftist terms: believing the lie that only white people will vote our way...then the GOP won’t go anywhere.

Trump and his agenda have a lot more mass appeal to those “outside the GOP box” than people realize. But GOP reduced to infighting and putting up mediocre candidates rather than capitalizing on the Trump momentum.

I agree Jim We need Ted Cruz in the Senate. I would like to see him as Attorney General! He sure would straighten out the Judicial and would go after Hillary. He wouldn’t have to recuse himself..

As far as whether I support Cruz for reelection to the Senate, my personal opinion of the man isn’t particularly relevant. POTUS feels reelecting Cruz will help him enact his agenda and I trust POTUS’s political judgment. POTUS may not even like Cruz for all we know, but apparently views him as an asset in the Senate for moving his agenda forward. Good enough for me.

Yes we do.

It’s absurd that anyone here would be against him.

Thanks for speaking out.

When was texas purple

John Tower transformed the place from reconstruction and new deal Democrats to socially conservative GOP when the Dems embraces the Great Society

Closest to purple since then in a national import race is now

And it is because whites are becoming a minority

Despite Texas having the most conservative Latinos in my estimation in the nation

SOS....sons of Seguin
