Strzok-Page texts calling to 'open' case in 'chargeable way' under fresh scrutiny

Text messages from disgraced FBI figures Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, discussing whether to open a "case" in a "formal chargeable way" after Director James Comey was fired, are under fresh scrutiny after Page told congressional investigators there was no evidence of Russian collusion at the time, according to three congressional sources.

Two hours after Comey's termination became public on May 9, 2017, Strzok, a now-former FBI agent, texted Page, his then-colleague and lover: "We need to open the case we've been waiting on now while Andy is acting."

"Andy" is a reference to then-Deputy Director Andrew McCabe who temporarily took over the bureau until Christopher Wray was confirmed as director in August 2017.

Page, a former FBI attorney, replied to Strzok: "We need to lock in (redacted). In a formal chargeable way. Soon."

“Is it wrong to feel this way? Does treason override the not-guilty meter?”

Nope. On FR, we’re still allowed to act like men.

She moved from an 8-pack to about 4, on the Budweiser scale. Compare to Monica, who is a double bagger.

I disagree. You don’t know what plans he has for these people. Another thing he said during debates is how he’s not going to tell the enemy what his plans are. They are going to jail because if they don’t, there is no justice and this nation is finished. Sorry, you don’t understand the consequences of inaction.

“You don’t know what plans he has for these people..They are going to jail....”

Sorry, you are the one that doesn’t understand... these Obama co-conspirators are a bunch of has been political hacks. They have already been neutered - they are scurrying around trying to cover their tracks and ratting each other out.

They are guilty as Hell, but the biggest threat they pose now is if Trump were to make martyrs out of them by throwing them in jail. The Republican Party is then seen as the brutal party of Ghengis Trump. Then, when these martyrs get pardoned by the next Democrat POTUS, they return with a vengeance, and claim the moral high ground.

Think about it. Trump is never going to earn the trust of the American people by trying to lock up all his political opponents!!!! He will earn their trust by being seen as the innocent victim of a nasty political witch hunt who acted with patience, dignity and restraint, and with full transparency. The Democrats will go down as the nasty, petty, vindictive liars and cheaters that they are.

Look, I know I’m not going to convince anybody. You want them locked up and you won’t settle for anything less. Fine. Enjoy your wrong predictions year after year. The time of Trump making his big move toward mass incarcerations will always be right around the corner. I bet we’ll be having this same conversation in 2020 and then again in 2022.

But you’ll keep getting disappointed because Trump is not interested in locking up his political enemies for political crimes. It’s not going to happen.

A few low level people might get nailed on technicalities like money laundering or tax evasion, but that’s about it.

The good news is that jailing ex political hacks is not the way to drain the swamp anyway. The swamp is drained by dismantling the deep state regulatory infrastructure that they operate within. It is drained by cutting off the head of the beast by separating the paid-for bureaucrats from the sponsors who bribe them. It is drained by discrediting the Leftist political brand of the DNC and MSM.

Trump is already busy doing all of that, and has been from day one.
