There is no law called “Sexual assault of a person that is slightly under age.”
age of consent in texas is 17. So Close and yet so far.
Whether it happened or not, the left always reverts to a sex crime to get their target.

I am guesing he was low hanging fruit to go after. it sounds like he is guilty but it also smells of a set up.
This is an awfully convenient development for the anti-gun forces.
Wouldn’t surprise me if he gets released on bail conditioned on that he can’t access a computer or do anything related to the 3D printing issue.
And as part of the anticipated plea deal he’ll promise to stop his activism and accept a misdemeanor for ‘bothering’ a child.
I say that because I seriously question the convenient timing of these charges.
The legal term is minor which describes anyone under the age of 18

Cody Wilson is apparently not the brightest bulb, but he's not the only one at fault. Sadly, I doubt this "child" will suffer the slightest repercussion. I guess she felt guilty about taking $500 and then told her "counselor"?

Reading the story, he found her on a website where she would have had to claim to be at least 18. Still stupid, but a little less so.
How is she guilty of creating and transmitting child porn?
He needs to say he is actually a female teacher, then he will be let go and everyone will high five him.
