>There is a reason why investments and stocks weren’t taught throughout the curriculums and grades in public school as math, history and english were taught. A good understanding of the economy gives the citizens waaaay too much power for the elites in charge.<

Absolutely correct.

The reason most public schools have become such pus-filled pits is not because of the hard working public, but because of the choices of who the public votes for.

Our incestuous government people, places, and things are traitors, either by default and omission, or by their evil Genes and DNA.

We are uneducated because of the governing classes, not because the public wants it that way.

Played golf on Wednesday.... Our foursome consisted of sixty-something guys. At the nineteenth hole afterwards the Kavanaugh nomination in particular and politics in general came up. My three other players, they’re educated successful men. But they were all anti-Trump, convinced that he is just short of Hitler and as one said ‘amoral and unethical’. When I asked for examples of what he has done that is Hitlerian, they all replied with ‘Nothing. Yet.’ It’s unbelievable....

Then you are already finished as basically we are economically beholden to the Dimmocrap cities. In this scenario you don’t cut off your nose to smite your face. You keep what facilities you need to keep your economy running.

There has been a long-term trend of cities drawing people from the rural areas through economic opportunity. That won’t stop.

Many from the South came for the Welfare benefits and their descendants make up the bulk of the Welfare Class.

Unless the GOP figures out how to handle this situation it is going to be difficult for Republicans in the future.

As you note the cities are critical to the economy and are the economic engines powering whole regions including agriculture.

Civilization itself is a creation of cities which are the places the culture is created.

Democrat controlled cities create economic black holes that suck all the wealth of the city and state. Detroit is the poster child of this but Chicago is going that way and all of California is headed that way. They pay sweetheart pensions and a massive school teachers unions.

There are two types of people in this world. The majority just want to left alone under their own vine and fig tree.

Then there is the minority who is just itching to tell other people what to do.

When critical mass is achieved in the second group you have civil war.

Yes it has. And the mid terms are going to be a bloodbath. And I don't mean figuratively.

Could not agree more. The Left is organized while our side blusters a lot then goes back to watching football or the latest comic book movie.

Excellent point.

And I'll take it a step further.

The minority who is itching to tell people what to do wants money (and the power that comes with it) but they don't understand reality enough to know how to make it...so they want to take yours.

All true but there is no doing without cities, which, by the way, have always been problematic especially wrt crime.

You have the Best and the Worst in cities but the greatest economic are there. It is unfortunate that the Demons subsidize the Worst, buying votes.

Cities of the past have been far more violent than today’s when you needed an armed guard to go out at night. Dickens put a spotlight on this problem.

There was a process in the Vietnam war called fragging which to care of officers with high a-hole content

Who do you think these gangs are going to attack? Try the surrounding suburbs and they won’t be too particular about their victims politics. Immigrants in the Blue cities will return home rather than be drafted into a Gringo Civil War.

It depends where the nukes are stored. The US doesn’t like storing them in cities. Places like Wyoming and South Dakota.

Just because the blue cities break away doesn’t mean they will give up eating. What happens is that the Blue cities will have to compete with the rest of the world for that food. As already pointed out the cities are the devil to the social corruption we are facing. Expell them from the union and treat them at arm’s length.

I was thinking more like the people who finance Antifa hiring MS-13 to perform targeted hits on specific people.

There has been no civilization without cities- that is where the word comes from. Any civilization that loses its cities go into a Dark Age where international trade and literacy collapse.

Agriculture needs the cities as much as the other way around.

A farmer’s family can on eat so much corn and if he can’t sell the rest he goes bankrupt.

Without the cities the economy would collapse, they are the economic generators of society as well as the creators of new ideas.

Look I am 61yo and lived my entire life in Brooklyn and Long Island and I have seen the Harbor of New York go from a bustling sea port to shore parks. All of the cargo and most of the passengers are going to NJ you could saw NYC off at the Hudson and it would have no effect on the Port.
As for Agriculture I didn’t say to not sell to them just treat them as you would any other foreign country, they have to compete on the open market with the rest of the world.
