CBS News has obtained an invitation to a fundraiser for incumbent Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wisconsin in Washington, D.C. on Monday, October 1, hosted by Brett Kavanaugh accuser Dr. Christine Blasey Ford's attorneys, Debra Katz and Lisa Banks, along with liberal political action committee "End Citizens United." Ford's lawyers' remarks and statements on her behalf have largely been in line with those of Democrats on the Judiciary Committee.
According to the Baldwin campaign, the event was scheduled before Ford's allegations against Kavanaugh were made public. Her lawyers, the campaign says, are no longer involved in the event. As of Thursday morning, the two were still listed as the hosts.

There are parts of Wisconsin that have a large group of conservative Catholic voters and I wonder if that had anything to do with it.
All signs point to the rats having an “Oh S***” moment over this and wanting it over as soon as possible. They’re blowing their wad on a perfectly innocent and good man. They’re looking at a terrible hand, but now they have to go all-in anyway, but they’re hoping to limit the political backlash. Too late, too many Republican voters are pissed off.
I'm not a lawyer, but that sure sounds like a conflict of interest to me.

Tammy Baldwin is running a re-election commercial showing her concern over health insurance for a young girl. Tammy, unfortunately, has no concern for an unborn child.
.... Probably Security Concerns .... The cost of Security could very well outweigh the cash garnered at the fundraiser ....

But its all good since this is all a Democrat scheme to delay the vote til AFTER the midterms..just watch, if this gets delayed til after the midterms..all of a sudden Dr. Ford will come out and say “Ya know, I made a mistake, it wasn’t Kavanaugh after all”
Conflicts of Interest can be off-set by donations that exceed twice the damage.
Better yet...Have the slip-and-fall lawyers schedule a distraction to refocus the evening news.
