Grassley isn't crazy. The correct title should be "Kavanaugh Accuser’s Lawyers Refuse to Meet Grassley’s Final Deadline". I didn't mean that to come across as rude.

I'm frustrated, too, but he works very hard and is probably tired. I must give him the benefit of the doubt. I pray that his health holds because he is in his 80's, very articulate. He seems like a decent man although I've never met him.

If he doesn't bend over backwards to accommodate the accuser , people could suffer in the midterms and the press will go rabid for days on all involved in this sideshow nobody needed. Except Democrats.

If he is so feeble that he cannot handle the pressure of chairing the Senate Judiciary Committee, then he should step down. The entire Kavanaugh confirmation process has been a circus. If he can’t handle the clown show, then he should step aside and let someone else do it.
