It was a week of pure political theater, a disgrace to everything this country used to stand for, and Democrats loved every minute of what they’d created. Between the faux outrage and the pearl-clutching across liberal Washington, there wasn’t a fainting couch that wasn’t engaged. It was all garbage.
We will never know happened to Christine Blasey Ford in the early 80s, even after she tells her story. Frankly, I don’t care anymore. When she first came forward I was willing to hear her out. It quickly became clear, whatever her story was, that her story didn’t matter. By Monday it was a liberal feeding frenzy and I was out.
In a country with more than a million lawyers, Ford ran into the arms of a liberal activist attorney you’d pick if you were looking for a political outcome, not justice.

Yep. The reason for the delay aided by some Republican senators, is to allow the feminist campaign of terror to try to convince Collins, Murkowski and a couple of Democrats to vote against confirmation.

Where do they stand? Will they come out an publicly state that they support and believe Ford? Why aren't their feet held to the fire? Why do they get a pass. Has anyone taken a poll in their states - do people in those state support Kavanaugh? Or do a majority believe Ford?

The cold fact is if Grassley had the voted to confirm, it would already been voted on. This is a negotiation between the less than yes votes on the committee and what grassley has to give up to Ford.
Grasseley is not the blame here. It’s the Rep Senators on the committee that haven’t been persuaded to vote yes. You can’t stampede them into voting yes just by forcing a vote. Grassley is doing his best to save this nomination by keeping it alive, vote right now and Kavanaugh goes down in flames.
Hold the vote. Put in earplugs to shut out the piggy squeals of insane piggies. Have the floor vote. Swear him in as a Supreme Court Justice of the United States.
With any luck, California will secede from the Union and break into three, Fudgepackistan (Frisco Bay area), Hollywierd (LA and environs) and Normalia (San Diego), which will stay in the Union and already has a wall under construction. It’ll need a North wall, too, to keep refugees from Fudgepackistan and Hollywierd from sneaking over. Let them stew in their own juices. No CW II. They’ll beg to be readmitted after the homeless start eating people.

I don’t want them to vote yet. With each passing hour this story becomes a bigger joke, and the Democrats look more foolish.
I don’t see her apologizing, but I’m pretty sure her lawyers are working with Senate Democrats to come up with a plan to make this all go away. Look for an announcement that she can’t make it to Washington due to unspecified “health issues,” and we will never hear from her again. As another Freeper said, the next time she appears in court will be to legally change her name.

Are you kidding? They are in this way too deep to back out with a simple apology. The only way she gets out is to be thrown under the bus by the Democrats and burned at the stake.
