While sitting in Yom Kippur services, I was focused on the essence of the holiday -- Jews atoning for their sins. The (10) Days of Awe conclude with Yom Kippur – a joyful beginning to the remainder of the year. Despite that, I, like many Americans, was seething about the charges lodged by Christine Blasey Ford against Brett Kavanaugh that became public a week prior to the Senate committee vote on his Supreme Court nomination.
I am a dedicated supporter of women. When I started my political involvement, I was mentored by a woman. Patty Cafferata, from Reno, Nevada, was the person with whom I cut my teeth in my post-college political career. Ms. Cafferata was a member of the State Assembly, Treasurer of the State of Nevada and a candidate for Governor. She is now a special assistant to Attorney General Adam Laxalt, who is running for Governor. In addition to Patty, more than 50 percent of my non-presidential donations have gone to women.
I am also a believer in women’s rights and find sexual assault not only demeaning to women, but likewise demeaning to the good men (the preponderance of American men) who would never do such a despicable act. I am proud to say I raised my son, now a grown man, to think and act the way I do toward women – only with respect.

Absolutely spot on. That woman, her lawyer, Schumer, Pelosi, every CNN, MSNBC and media person who has promoted this and a host of others MUST face punishment in this life for what they have attempted to do. Just seeing Kavanaugh properly seated on the Supreme Court will not do this time. Someone with backbone has to go after these people. Someone...lead us.
That is obvious. Either they defame and stop Kavanaugh, or war. This bunch is not going to stop until they blow the whole thing up.
God, the two parties and those of us with values, the ability to implement critical thinking, gather facts and come to logical conclusions know the truth. That's millions of people. We are FAR more than the 10 Abraham was seeking to keep God from destroying Sodom and Gomorrah. So, we can do this. (There, fixed it.)
The most damning evidence against Dr. Ford is the absence of any men from her high school years defending her honor and integrity.
There were 75 women who held a press conference attesting to the Judge Kavanaugh’s fine character and respectful treatment of women. All of them had known him a long time, some since high school.
It is the dog that did not bark!
And a recent study shows that she retains DNA from all of them in her brain. No wonder she is ..... up!
If I were CBF’s attorney, I would tell her to say that it was a very realistic dream that you had. The people you named were all there in the dream.
That is why you didn’t know where you were or the year. You didn’t know how you got there or how you left the scene.
That is why all those you have named don’t remember the party.

How does anyone fight against this deep state machine that comes in and takes over .. with lies and more lies.. until almost everyone is calling it as it was not.
The GOP is so weak they don’t know how to even defend their own. That would be one way to fight against the left.. but there is no fight in that bunch of cowards. They stand back and let the man stand it all alone!
But to come up against that deep state machine... ya have to fight back with all there is to use. You don’t get on tv and play nice for the cameras... the election in nov needs the GOP to be strong, stern and defend to the ends! No wimpy maybe... the loud voices on the other side drown out any truth and it becomes “guilty unless proven innocent”. And if not proven innocent, Kavanaugh’s life has taken the worst hit a man can have thrown at him.. and there are not enough voices saying “he is innocent!” No proof, no nothing... to suggest the charges could be anywhere close to true.. but those voices I don’t hear!
If any one of you men were facing this, it would be a different story.. when it’s personal, it’s personal!
This recently, has turned into a woman’s world. I’m not sure why... not sure how the left women got a strong hold on men and society. Men are afraid of them... most are afraid of them. So they get their way.. which makes them more daring and more attacking and angry at everyone.. proudly braggng about their power.
The world has been truned upside down by obama’s fundamentally changing America over to what he wanted.. bad and more bad.. destructon of what we once had! The older you are, the more you see what is going on and what we are losing.
If they let Kavanaugh go... they will have destroyed a good man.. he will have no way to defend himself and his family... to do this without losing a minutes sleep... bothers me.. for that is where we are today!

That’s exactly what I have been thinking. Sue Ford (and DiFi) for slander immediately after confirmation....but that will not happen.
There are 162 women who have openly said Brett Kavanaugh could NOT have done this.
It is not he said, she said.
It is a made up story to stop the confirmation of a conservative Justice of the Supreme court, period.

How many future candidates will put themselves through this even assuming Kavanaugh is confirmed? I am a principled person with no skeletons yet I would not allow me or my family to go through a circus like this. I think that is the purpose of doing this. They get their wise latinas, we don’t get our Borks. That is the message. I think the last 4 unsuccessful nominations to the SC were made under GOP Presidents going back to Carlswell in Nixon’s time. I think that says it all.
IMO, the dems have no reason to draw air.
It’ll be 51-50 for confirmation if we are fortunate.
I wouldn’t be so sure about that. I think Brett will stomp on them to clear his name.
But I don’t think JFK really meant that: it was pleasing rhetoric at the time.
