Rasmussen ^ | September 24, 2018 | Rasmussen

Posted on 09/24/2018 5:06:54 PM PDT by familyop

Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court confirmation has been top news for weeks, but voters don’t think the media is trying to do him any favors.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 47% of Likely U.S. Voters think when most reporters write or talk about Kavanaugh, they are trying to defeat his confirmation. Just eight percent (8%) think most reporters are trying to help Kavanaugh win the Senate confirmation, while 37% think most reporters are simply interested in reporting the news in an unbiased manner. 56% See Media Witch Hunt of Public Figures Accused of Sexual Wrongdoing
Rasmussen
September 24, 2018
“Several high profile actors, politicians and journalists have been accused of sexual wrongdoing in the wake of the #MeToo movement. But most voters think these public figures aren’t getting a fair shake by the media.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that just 28% of Likely U.S. Voters say, when a public figure is accused of sexual wrongdoing, it is more likely that the media will regard him as innocent until proven guilty. Fifty-six percent (56%) believe it’s more likely the media will regard the public figure as guilty until proven innocent. Seventeen percent (17%) are not sure. The following numbers are good ones. For comparison, look up Obama’s numbers for the same date in 2010.

Very good number! Comparison mentioned below.

Right Direction or Wrong Track
42% Say U.S. Heading in Right Direction
Rasmussen
September 24, 2018
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/mood_of_america/right_direction_wrong_track_sep24
“Forty-two percent (42%) of Likely U.S. Voters think the country is heading in the right direction, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey for the week ending September 20.

This is down two points from the previous week. This finding has been running in the 40s for most weeks this year after being in the mid- to upper 20s for much of 2016, President Obama’s last full year in office.”

.
I don’t believe Rassmussen!

I hardly ever run into anyone that disapproves of Trump, and I live in the eastern SF Bay Area!

Of course I mostly encounter ‘real’ people that work for a living, and own property.

Oddly, that's the same 37% who have been dead for years, yet never fail to vote D. Thanks familyop.

In full open session, before the judicial committee, Kavanaugh should sign an affidavit that he will resign from the Supreme Court if any future investigation by the FBI into the charges by Christine Ford or Deborah Ramirez result in a trial ending with a guilty verdict.

Immediately (same day) after signing the affidavit the senate should vote on confirming Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.
