When it comes to the nomination of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, remember one thing: The math is the math is the math. Nothing else matters...Ten GOPers remain undecided. They are Sens. Bill Cassidy, R-La.; Susan Collins, R-Maine; Bob Corker, R-Tenn.; Mike Enzi, R-Wyo.; Jeff Flake, R-Ariz.; John Kennedy, R-La.; James Lankford, R-Okla.; Jerry Moran, R-Kan.; Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska; and Ben Sasse, R-Neb...Know this: a nominee on the verge of sailing to confirmation doesn’t appear on national television with his wife to make his case.

...if she shows up. If not, I would count that against her, and I would think the GOP committee members would too.

What you said should happen. It depends on how blind people are to Trump and supporters success.

Manchin is a possible vote for Kavanaugh.

Morrisey is a definite vote for Kavanaugh.

If there is a single Republican 'NO' vote, there won't be a single Democrat 'YES' vote.

Yup. The GOP needs to learn that the best answer to the Democrats is always the same: ignore them.

Just spoke with an female aid to Senator Ben Sasse. She said that the reason they are reporting that Sasse is “undecided” is because he has not made a statement about how he will vote.

I told the woman that, until the the Republican party grows a spine, the Dems will never stop this form of attack; and that the Republicans can kiss their chances of holding the House AND the Senate goodbye, if they allow this leftist BS to continue without challenge.

She said she would pass my “concerns” on to the senator.

The Dems can be frank as to how they will vote, but the Reps must play games so as not to alienate women.

Correct. Things used to be different when Scalia was confirmed 98-0 and RBG by 96-3. Today, a party which does not vote nearly unanimously for its SCOTUS nominee is dead.

If the votes were there, the vote would have happened yesterday.

When/if the nomination clears committee, Pence’s vote will be required to finish it.

This nomination is in no way assured of confirmation.

They should have shut down Diane Feinstein’s letter because of the late nature of of when she put it forward. They should have ignored the nonsense accusation just like the Democrats would have done.

They couldn't.

This is the nature of the Media/Lefty Twitter mob.

Exactly. Just as they did to General Flynn, another honorable man.

That is why not only must Kavanaugh be confirmed, but the force of evil behind the acts must be eviscerated beyond the ability to ever re-group.

“The Dems can be frank as to how they will vote, but the Reps must play games so as not to alienate women.”

I disagree.

All the Republicans needed to do, and continue to need to do, is the right thing for the United States of America. Always was that way and always will be.

This section of ‘women’ that you are referring to will never come over to our side; they can never be appeased enough.

BK has a lifetime appointment currently - how do you draw the conclusion that: “...his career is pretty much over.”?

Because if the democrats make this stick, impeachment off the DC circuit logically follows. If the charges stick, he's open to perjury charges from the hearing. That's why Kavanaugh refuses to fold.

Would the republicans try to stop it? Hell no, they always go the CYA route.

He wont be short of votes after November. We pick up 6 seats. IMO House gains between 5 and 15 seats Jim Jordan is speaker after January Hey. It can happen. Why anyone would vote democrat after all this is simply nut

I wish this was true, but we will be very lucky to keep both the House and Senate. Hell, more people believe the accuser than Kavanaugh...that shouldn't even be close....it should be 65% or better in support of the Judge's version. There more holes in the accuser's story... there isn't enough evidence to even hint at filing a complaint....which is why these scummy democrats know its all about making the accusation. Liberal media in their pocket.... Kavanaugh sadly, will not be confirmed.

If perjury charges were filed every time one person's versions of events was believed over another's, almost every single trial in this country would be followed by the loser getting tried for perjury. That simply does not happen.

Realistically, perjury isn't even on the table here.

If Kavanaugh had come out last night in an aggressive manner all the headlines/democrat talking points would be, “See how aggressive he is? He is just the kind of person that molests women.” It would be construed as evidence he is guilty as charged.
