even a TS clearance only goes back 10 years (except for criminal convictions, drug use while a LEO/in a position of trust, or while one has a security clearance, or a refused or revoked clearance). not clear how a clearance investigation would uncover adolescent misbehavior that didn’t result in a police report or court action.

Avenatti and the DNC are ACTIVELY RECRUITING such bimbo responses and, if successful with zotting Judge Kavanaugh, would repeat it with ANY non-LEFT Supreme Court nominee! Surrendering to this vaporware accusation would be disastrous and without any possible benefit for the future.

Regarding Kavanaugh’s confirmation, FReepers are quick to point out that Murkowski, Collins and Flake are potential “no” votes, but we need to also remember that there are red state dems up for reelection this year that will probably need to vote for Kavanaugh’s confirmation if they’re to keep their seats.
And for any future confirmations, the senate can change the rules to narrow the process to only what’s set out in the constitution. Stop the endless hearings and grandstanding. Request written “advice” from all 100 senators, then schedule a vote to determine whether or not they “consent” to the president’s choice. Done and done.
Yes. I do think that he could nominate someone they would not do this to.
