Judge Brett Kavanaugh's second sexual abuse accuser, Deborah Ramirez, will not testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
According to Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA), a member of the Committee, said he spoke with Ramirez. She made it very clear that she gave her story to the press, which can be found in The New Yorker article that was posted late Sunday night, The Washington Times reported.
“Our counsel repeatedly tried to reach him,” Kennedy said. “They finally did reach him, and he said we are not issuing a statement. He said if you want our statement, read the New Yorker.”
Ramirez has a sign outside of her Boulder, Colorado home saying she will not speak to the press. Anyone member of the press who would like more information is encouraged to call her lawyer
We have yet to hear his testimony, but Brett is his own man. I would not expect him to speak to the committee like Clarence Thomas did in 1991. Thomas has a voice like MLK. Yet as a child he didn’t speak English.
IMO Brett’s strength is his writing. He is not the greatest public speaker.
But last night’s interview was wonderful. It showed the American people and senators what this family is dealing with. The timing was perfect. Hearing of his abstinence in high school was refeshing and unexpected. I think it helped.

The woman who accused Judge Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct in a New Yorker article said Tuesday through her lawyer that she wants an FBI investigation into her charges.
Colorado lawyer John Clune also criticized the Senate Judiciary Committee for its handling of his client, Deborah Ramirez, and accused it of refusing to meet his client’s demands.
