Really depends on Murkowski and Collins more than McConnell. If they won’t vote “yes” without another delay McConnell will have no choice. If Flake, Murkowski, and Collins all vote “no” the nomination in sunk.

With all due respect, the Senate (including McConnel) is held hostage on this matter by Collins, Murkowski and Flake.
They need at least 2 of those votes to confirm Kavanaugh and there’s just no getting around that.
