Syria's foreign minister, Walid al-Moualem, told the United Nations General Assembly on Saturday that the country was ready for the voluntary return of refugees who fled during the more than seven-year conflict.

"We welcome any assistance with reconstruction from those countries that were not part of the aggression on Syria," he said. "The countries that offer only conditional assistance or continue to support terrorism, they are neither invited nor welcome to help."

Let’s see, my former house is a bombed out shell. The place where I worked is a crater. There is no electricity, running water or sewer. Currently, I am on the dole and living comfortably in Itally. I play cards, drink coffee and do drugs all day. Occasionally, I rape somebody and nobody even repots I, because, Islamaphobia. I think I’ll stay right here. /S

Until the Europeans cut off benefits for staying and pay to go home. Italy will do the same thing with Tunisians. France will continue on, with its Left bemoaning the Algerian origins of its migrants and colonial legacy blahblahblah.

Merkel has just been given an out. She’s smart enough to start working it in her favor, at least to diffuse the popularity of the growing Right

Why the heck are we still there? And why is President Trump still believing that the Syrian gov had anything to gain by implementing chemical attacks? And why is it okay for Israel to destabilize Syria?

President Trump's foreign policy is a mixed bag. He's doing a lot of good things with Korea, SE Asia, trade, and holding our "allies" financially responsible for defense. But as far as getting out of wars we should not have been in, he has not done what he promised to do.
