People are focused on a Supreme Court seat. They are loosing the big picture. Things have escalated to a point of almost no return, and the divide between Americans grows. The author correctly points out, that evidence of being incorrect about her claims, even evidence that it has been a staged hit job, WILL NOT CHANGE THE MINDS OF THE LIBERALS. I assure you that they will say that the it was a ‘necessary process’ to keep a Conservative from the bench and thwart the will of the people. Much like the voter fraud, money schemes, and illegal donors, political spying.
That’s the real ‘big picture’. The leftist media, Fake news, Hollywood, scamming non-profits, deep state, pedophiles, sexual deviants, criminals, and Communists/Socialists do not care about what is just. They want power over you, they want to tell you how to live, and they want your tax money. They already have no moral compass, they don’t care about the Republic of the United States or it’s Constitution. They want to destroy it all, seize power, and subjugate the ‘deplorables’. Yes, if your reading this on Free Republic, you are a deplorable.
The big picture is that the left has led to a path that will only end in Civil Conflict. Yes, I am talking about the kind of conflict that will bring horror not just to our homes and shores, but to the entire free world that the United States protects. We need to talk not about surviving the event, or winning the event, but how to minimize the bloodshed that the left and the illegal government is leading us to. Kavanaugh is small symptom of a very serious disease that will kill the republic.
SJW, Antifa, Communists, Fascists are united together, much like in the early 1930’s, poised to destroy a Republic. Hell will follow.

Collins is ok. In an ideal world she would have run for Gov. and appointed LePage as her successor. We can dream. The others are red state RINOS. Blame the voters.
Even if the FBI fully exonerates Judge Kav, not one dem would change his or her vote to a yes. Don’t forget, their standard pap is Kav may cause the overturn of Wade vs. Roe. This whole pony show is to snag a few R votes into the No column. More precisely, it is to give the RINOs an excuse to vote No.
We may lose this judge and we may very lose in the elections next week. We need to start acting more on the local level and then we need to primary out the RINOs before they get to congress.
This is a very good summation of leftist democrat party tactics and embedded hostility to all things Republican. We know, as I believe Flake knows as well, that conceding to their unreasonable demands only results in their further resetting the boundaries to continue endlessly until stopped. I do not know how Sen Flake justifies his participation in this known MO of the democrats. Nor why Collins and Murkowski and other RINOS also are unreliable Republican supporters for their own party. I see and hear so many Republican supporters in the media cautiously speaking of accuser Ford as tho she is a victim because her letter was publicized contrary to her claimed desire to remain private. Why did she write it in the first place if not to be recognized as a star victim? I think Ford is a liar. We know virtually nothing about her background and Kavanaugh has been probed and investigated from birth on. This whole Ford thing is a scam and all involved know it.
By their actions Collins, Murkowski, and Flake are equally responsible for this character assassination and ruination of a good man, just so they can kill babies and show their hatred of Trump.
What treatment do these idiots think they will get from the democrats when Collins and Murkowski’s past histories as prostitutes and tax cheats and Flake’s record of embezzlement and pederasty are investigated?
Oh, I don’t have any proof of those accusations. I just heard about them and they all seemed credible to me so they must be believed.
Here is the bare, naked truth.
Flake was never going to vote for this guy. Flake is weak and a Stockholm syndrome creature of DC. So he was never going to vote for this guy either out of fear or out of anger at Trump, whatever.
Ok, he is what he is. That is what makes what he is doing so horrible. If he knows, and he does know, he will never vote for Kavanaugh, why drag the poor man and his family through another week? Just vote no.

Scientific Method, on the other hand, is a discipline designed to grant scientific justification for a hypothesis. Scientific Method questions the validity of the hypothesis, and then provides a rational process to validate it, review it, and duplicate it BEFORE it is accepted. Needless to say a “scientific consensus” would never pass the tests of Scientific Method and should have been rejected before it ever saw the light of day.
Applying that type of discipline to current events analysis is much too time consuming and/or expensive to ever be used by journalists or politicians before they write their articles or vote on legislation and, therefore, ignored in favor of consensus. The Law of Unintended Consequences is rife with examples of this lazy thinking.
Ann, it is an old cliche but once the die is cast (tossed), it is out of our hands. Kav’s fate now lies with the men and women in the senate with an R after their names. Maybe a third of them would be happy to vote with the dems but are afraid of losing their cushy jobs. If we have caused them to lose that fear, it is our fault.
Flake wants to destroy America. The other two are just ignorant.
The author is wasting his breath. Flake was a no before it began. The 2 tiered vote just gives him cover.
Maybe, someday, we will be rid of all of these meddling trouble making rino perps.
