Packers Unveil Strange American Flag-Like Banner Before Sunday's Game

As Sunday’s Green Bay Packers game kicked off, fans were perplexed when a stylized version of the American flag that looks more like decorative bunting, than our actual national flag, was paraded out onto the field for a pre-game ceremony.
The strange banner caused ESPN’s Rob Demovsky to remark, “Not sure what country today’s Packers-Bills game is being played in but that’s not my flag.”

10 years ago I worked with a guy that was a rabid lefty. He came, with his brother, from Buffalo, NY.

Next Sunday, the "Never-Thinking-Kneelers" running the NFL will also be unveiling their genuine new version of "the old pigskin" (see below) which they will be using from now on throughout the dying league (including the Green Bay Meat-Packers, the Pittsburgh Squealers, the Philadelphia Piglets, the Washington Lizzie Warrens, etc.)...
(Now, instead of "hut-1, hut-2", it will be "oink-1, oink-2"...)

Strictly speaking, the display of the flag at most, if not all NFL games before the game, stretched out over the field, violates the Flag Code:
Section 176(c): The flag should never be carried flat or horizontally, but always aloft and free.
Not to mention Section 176(i) which would cause most of us issues in our homes, were the Flag Code punitive: The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever. “It should not be embroidered on such articles as cushions or handkerchiefs and the like, printed or otherwise impressed on paper napkins or boxes or anything that is designed for temporary use and discard.”
