I’m sure when the offer was made she was no where near her home in CA.Her flight records for the past year need to be produced. Her attorneys need to be prosecuted.

I will tell you what I am troubled by, and that is James Comey stating ON TWITTER, “Small lies matter, even about yearbooks.”

How is he permitted to comment on subjects under current FBI investigation? He is signaling his loyalists in the FBI!! He is smearing Kavanaugh! Both are unethical and ought to be illegal.

Does he still possess a clearance? He has very poor judgement.

That’s true, but he will claim at the end of the week, that a week was insufficient time after all.

If you want to see how bad/inconsistent her testimony really was, here are some links:

Rachel Mitchell’s memo (she actually got a lot out of Ford):

Margot Cleveland’s excellent twitter threads (unrolled):

https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1046219137285070848.html

Who is Margo Cleveland?Margot Cleveland is a senior contributor to The Federalist. She is also a contributor to National Review Online, the Washington Examiner, Aleteia, and Townhall.com, and has been published in the Wall Street Journal and USA Today. Cleveland is a lawyer and a graduate of the Notre Dame Law School, where she earned the Hoynes Prize—the law school’s highest honor. She later served for nearly 25 years as a permanent law clerk for a federal appellate judge on the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Cleveland is a former full-time faculty member and current adjunct professor for the college of business at the University of Notre Dame, where she received several teaching awards. As a stay-at-home homeschooling mom of a young son with cystic fibrosis, Cleveland frequently writes on cultural issues related to parenting and special-needs children.

I don't know if you're characterizing Collins' request to Mark Judge correctly. When I read her request I understood it to mean: "Thank you for the letter from your attorney, but that letter does not constitute 'evidence' of any kind. In order for your statement to have any value in a legal proceeding, it must come in the form of a sworn statement from YOU, not a denial from your attorney."

Even a dim bulb like a U.S. Senator would have known that Judge's attorney was still going to be involved.

Thanks! I’ve already read Mitchell’s report but Cleveland’s analysis looks interesting (though I was already of the opinion that using Mitchell to question Ford was a brilliant move).

when asked if she was aware she had option of being interviewed in california Ford stated she was not aware of that.

What rock was she hiding under for the full week that she was publically invited by the committee chair on every major network for the full week beforehand? The rest of the country and a good part of the world new she was invited. Her lawyers may have used that as an excuse for her, but she is complicit in a lie (one of many).

Good point. Here's something that reinforces it: Michael Bromwich had to leave his prominent law firm to take on this assignment because the leadership of the firm didn't want him to touch it.

The FBI has already opened the “truncated investigation” into the Ford allegation. No need to send a letter to the DOJ if there is already an open investigation that can be used to address the matter.

The Dems did not want her to be “interviewed” in California. They wanted a delay and public spectacle on TV.

I agree with you on the prosecutors examination of Ford.

It wasn’t flashy and bombastic, but it brought out several inconsistencies and showed that Ford seemed to not be able to remember things from last month much less 36 years ago.

Mark Levin is about the only law talking head that thinks she did a good job.

The worst thing Mitchell could of done would of been to bore in hard and get poor poor Ms Ford to break down in a pitiful heap on national TV.

hey...legal costs include a 300,000 dollar polygraph test plus they had to pay for the room and the transportation to get there. Plus, the attorneys’ expenses have to be covered

cripes, you Repubs are so, so heartless !!!!

IIRC when asked if she was aware she had option of being interviewed in california Ford stated she was not aware of that. Which tells me her own lawyers kept info from her.....wow

Malpractice. See, for example, Model Rule of Professional Responsibility 1.4 and the ABA Comment on Rule 1.4

I’ve actually changed my mind from “I believe she believes it happened”, to “Dr. Fraud is a liar”. In her opening statement she described how she has been vilified everywhere and in every form of social media, so obviously she had been keeping up with the news, yet she NEVER saw Grassley on the news saying that he would go to her, or never read his midnight tweet where he said “ you come to us or we to u”? BS. She is as much a liar as her low-life lawyers and democrat friends.
