If the FBI produces information that essentially exonerates Kavanaugh (the prosecutor from Arizona has already done this) it won’t stop the Left from going after him.
After the “investigations” are done more accusations will come out of the woodwork in an attempt to further damage his reputation. By then, there will be no more investigations to exonerate Kavanaugh so it will be open season on him.
More are already coming. Coons as much as asked for more accusations.
So Coons and Flake's promise of "limited scope" to just what we knew at the time of the agreement is now OUT THE WINDOW. Next, the limited time aspect, OUT THE WINDOW. Gee, this is a big surprise by the stalling Dems and the spineless GOP.
The issue is much less the credibility of her pretty vacuous claims. The real issue is the actions of the behind people. It is pretty evident that she did not want to testify and was manipulated into doing so by “her” legal team, who instead of looking out for her legal interests were working for the interests of the Trump/Kavanaugh take down conspiracy. No competent and ethical attorney would march her client into a hearing where she would evidently commit perjury.
Her lawyers have ALREADY complained they aren’t talking to her.

Well, she was already interviewed by a prosecutor, and she was under oath, was she not?
That’s a LOT to work with.
The fact that they may not be talking to her much could is interesting. It could mean they are attempting to investigate details of her testimony and will probably come back to her for an interview after they have gathered a lot of information. This doesn’t bode well for her if she is the accusations are false and the testimony she gave is shown to be false or (harder to prove, but a defamation case could result) intentionally misleading
They’ve already moved on to the “ he lied about his drinking” schtick.
Investigating that will be demanded.

That was my claim days before the hearings; that she was being used and manipulated. And I went one further; I asserted that she was being coached and trained.
I doubt it’s their perview, but I wonder if the FBI are investigating what occurred before the hearings.
Ford wasn’t forced. She was complicit. Her vague testimony lacked any detail that could be legally deemed as perjurious.
Forget about Blasey-Ford. She's just a pawn in all of this and Rachel Mitchell's report yesterday destroyed her testimony.
The real villains her are her attorneys, Debra Katz specifically, and Dianne Feinstein. They are the ones who need to be thoroughly investigated and have the full wrath of accountability brought down upon them.

If any one of you thinks there will be ANY Rat who says in the next 5 days “Well, I am satisfied now and will not further impeded the nomination” I will bet you any amount up to several hundred dollars (and I have never bet in my life and can only afford to lose a couple hundred but would do so gladly). They have already Moved On from the FBI investigation. The Judicial Temperament ploy is afoot! (Don’t get upset if you’re accused of a crime.)
Purview of what. Have you read the various letters from Senators, e.g. Grassley and Hatch, requesting criminal investigations into false statements to Congress and obstruction. Their purview under a background investigation is one thing. Their purview to investigate allegations of violations of federal statute is only limited by law and regulation on conduct of investigations.
