Don’t be an idiot

That's good advice for both of you.

Trump is wrong on this.

ANYBODY who advocates ANY sort of "gun control" laws is wrong.

"Gun control" laws are wrong. Deal with it.

Don't be afraid to tell ANY politician he's wrong, even if it happens to be a politician you highly favor.

Wrong is wrong. Deal with it.

I have tried to be patient with you. I am going to make one more attempt to break through that thick skull of yours.

We had a friend who was in his early 20s who was killed along with his buddy a couple of years ago. The breech block of the canon in the WWII tank destroyer they were firing projectiles from failed. An inconclusive investigation was launched to determine the cause of the mishap. But even in liberal Oregon, no one that I am aware of proposed after that mishap that canons, or tank destroyers must be taken away from collectors.

We live in a country where on a federal level if you are willing to jump through the hoops, you can still own tanks, tank destroyers, canons, machine guns and a lot of other types of heavy armament and actually use them. If you would take your head out of the sand and stop blathering you might notice that even after a basically useless device, a “bump stock” was used to simulate machine gun fire in a terrorist attack against country music fans by a left wing kook... nothing has happened in over a year, other than political posturing.

If “bump stocks” made semi-automatic rifles more useful wouldn’t they be used by some low budget banana republic military somewhere in the world? I haven’t even heard of them being used by Mexican gangs or Middle Eastern terrorist groups. Their only semi-legitimate use is an entertainment devices for yahoos who want to get their jolly’s pretending they are shooting a machine gun. They are not worth attacking politicians who are on our side while they are trying to save our country from the leftists.

If you can’t figure the nuances of this situation out, then you are “dumber than a box of hammers”.

You need an attitude check. I have been very patient with your ignorant, arrogant, idiotic attitude ... you refuse to listen and you refuse to learn.

I don't give a rat's ass whether you, or I, or anybody else thinks "bump stocks" are useful or not. That's NOT THE POINT, dummy!

The point is GUN CONTROL LAWS DO NOT PROMOTE SAFETY NOR DO THEY PREVENT CRIME. Gun control laws are evil tools of tyranny. They have never been anything else. Adding to their number, even on a trivial matter, will not promote safety, will not prevent crime, and will NEVER appease the gun-grabbers. Get it yet?

if you are willing to jump through the hoops,

There's nothing about jumping through hoops in the Second Amendment or anywhere else in the Constitution. What part of "shall not be infringed" is difficult for you to comprehend. Point it out to me, so I can explain it in words you WILL understand.

You are a fool if you really cannot recognize political reality vs the way that you and I would like things to be. No action has been taken yet on “bump stocks” and may never be.

You are a fool

That you are, Bucky. That you are.

The man who cannot admit that even his favorite politician is sometimes wrong is truly a great fool.

No action has been taken yet on “bump stocks”

And wise patriotic Americans will make sure to let our President, whom we elected and who serves us, know that gun control laws and regulations ... even trivial ones ... are a bad idea that will do no good at all.

Are you wise enough to do that, fireman15?

So, you going to dump Trump over bump-stocks?

So, you going to dump Trump over bump-stocks?

I neither said nor implied that. You pulled that out of your ass. Shame on you.

Do you demand that your politicians (even those you highly favor) be 100% right at all times, or you won't vote for them? Are you really that stupid?

Part of #65 applies to you. I'll add it here:

The man who cannot admit that even his favorite politician is sometimes wrong is truly a great fool.

My apologies - the recent Kavanaugh crap had me on an edge.

Right. Understood.

Now, let’s send our President a polite message that “gun control” is bad. It won’t reduce crime, it won’t increase safety, and it won’t make the screaming demons in the ‘Rat Party love him.

You can turn bump.stocks “off” so you could still use them at that range.

In any case, I would find another gun club.

There is so much missing in the Las Vegas shooting. As far as I can tell the only conclusion is to ban concerts.

That’s how screwed up it is.

You can bump fire without a “bump stock”. Idiots bump firing with bump stocks sent projectiles from one range onto another on multiple occasions which could easily have resulted in serious injury or death.

Our ranges are located on leased public lands. Any incident that resulted in death or even injury could result in the lease being cancelled. Banning a device which creates danger to the membership and could easily result in the demise of the club is common sense.
