And that’s how you become the wealthiest person in the country. Bezos may be the most hated boss today.

he said he could have earned a few thousands of dollars more from the incentive programs. “Amazon isn’t giving its employees a raise, they’re taking money from us,” he told Yahoo Finance. “It only looks good if folks don’t know the truth.”

Typical. Amazon sounds like eBay with their new “lower” fees every year which are actually increases.

Well, $15 per hour was the main objective. Now they have the “living wage” a few people wanted.

It’s funny. All those articles I’ve read about how miserable and underpaid Amazon’s workers are, I never saw a paragraph about the stock grants and the thousands of dollars worth of bonuses.

Seems that the new system penalizes the "go-getters" and hard workers by eliminating stock options and bonuses.

Now it's a "level playing field" and the slackers will get paid the same as the hustlers.

But for some Amazon employees, the excitement didn’t last very long as they learned that existing financial incentives and bonus programs, including stock and monthly bonuses, that usually boost paychecks will be eliminated starting November 1.

Amazing! Amazon actually has to fund the pay raise? Why don't they just create money out of thin air like the federal government does?!

I especially liked the provision that Amazon's worker compensation will no longer be incentive based. Now all of its employees can compete for being the laziest worker without being fired.

Be careful what you wish for.

The employees are just more roadkill on the left’s highway to socialism.
