Hi Folks!
Just got in from an open mike at a new place (for me anyway). Gosh was it retro pre-Beatles 60’s Coffee-house low energy folky-pokey, left-wing, protest songs. eyewwwww. I did my usual rock-em sock-em set, and jaws dropped. They did not know what to make of me. Oh Well.
Everybody else was doing stuff from when I was 10 and learning guitar.
Over a HALF CENTURY AGO.
I’m willing to bet I was the only conservative in the bunch...in the very belly of the beast.
I won’t be going back THERE.

I have to admit, though, the other artists played the guitar very well.
CONSIDERING THAT THEY HAVE BEEN PLAYING THE SAME SONGS FOR SIXTY YEARS, I WOULD HOPE SO!!!!!
