Hi Folks!

Just got in from an open mike at a new place (for me anyway). Gosh was it retro pre-Beatles 60’s Coffee-house low energy folky-pokey, left-wing, protest songs. eyewwwww. I did my usual rock-em sock-em set, and jaws dropped. They did not know what to make of me. Oh Well.

Everybody else was doing stuff from when I was 10 and learning guitar.

Over a HALF CENTURY AGO.

I’m willing to bet I was the only conservative in the bunch...in the very belly of the beast.

I won’t be going back THERE.

I have to admit, though, the other artists played the guitar very well.

CONSIDERING THAT THEY HAVE BEEN PLAYING THE SAME SONGS FOR SIXTY YEARS, I WOULD HOPE SO!!!!!

(((It was a good thing I wasn’t wearing my MAGA hat. Eek)))

Gooood Thursday mornin’, Early Birds!
It’s a beautiful day here in Ft.Worth.
Too warm, but pretty.
I’m off to central Texas today.
Hope to have an uneventful drive today, like yesterday.
All y’all have a GREAT day!
Can you believe it's nearly the weekend?
Bet you’re ready!
(((hugs)))
