The good news is I think Fineswine is toast. The bad news is her opponent is a younger, more leftie Hispanic Democrat, Kevin de León, thanks to our jungle primary. DiFi didn’t even get the state Dem party endorsement. Normally she could probably get enough Pubs to hold their nose and vote for her as the lesser of two evils to put her over the top. Not now.

And this poll oversamples Democrats, it can be assumed. This is going to be a red tsunami, followed by a red tide, and a red flood in 2020.

If there aren’t 34 dramatic moments...meaning more emotional smears and lies, or, another last minute “surprise.” Despite Kavanaugh’s unpopularity...written from the special perspective of the Left. More people believe Ford? Really? Perhaps people who have never been on the receiving end of an obvious lie. Are there such people? Did they grow up in a cave? Also, firing up the base has always been the point of a campaign. It’s rare that you swing people to your side who are not already on your side. In reality, if you don’t have the base behind you 100% you are counting on swinging people who vote on looks and thick, appealing hair.
