Democrats’ Kavanaugh assassination is re-uniting the right
N. Y. Post ^ | Oct. 3, 2018 | Sohrab Ahmari

Brett Kavanaugh is no longer a mere Supreme Court nominee. His name is now a veritable conservative cause — one that has united the right for the first time since the 2016 primary sent Republicans quarreling over Trump and Never Trump.

Even Gingrich is saying this.

I won’t be mad at every R, just the ones who vote no. It’s suicide to let the Ds get any more power than they already have. Their behavior might thrill their base, but any sane person outside of that group can clearly see just how evil they are.

——More is at stake than the fate of one man.——

The game being played is “for keeps”, “ for all the marbles”

Most here don’t know about playing marbles. I was the youngest kid on the block and my mom would not allow me to play “for keeps” because she knew the older boys could always beat me.

The Supreme court nomination/confirmation is but prelude to the coming destruction. The Baker testimony yesterday points to far more destructive activities than the ford fiasco

I do think that NeverTrump Republicans have received a sobering lesson.

Hang with Trump, or you will surely all hang separately.

“...the rumored 57,000-plus sealed indictments”

When will this stupidity die? People think Santa and his helpers are secretly filing tens of thousands of secret indictments?

Most of that is nothing more than common documents sealed for later such as warrants.

Why people buy into the lameness is beyond me.

Neutrality isn’t an option in the face of evil.

This fight isn’t over political differences. Its over right and wrong.

In life sometimes, we have to pick a side and when the other side fights dirty, we must make sure they pay the price for it.

The Left has gotten away with bad behavior for a long time and we must now say to it, “enough.” For we’re living in a vastly diminished country.

We’re looking into the abyss. Our duty is to make sure the abyss doesn’t overtake us.

Schumer, Feinstein, Blumenthal, Booker, Coons should never be allowed to mingle with decent people and not be harassed. These people knowingly and without conscience did all they could to wantonly destroy the life, career and family of a decent man.

I don’t consider, “Vote Republican because the Democrats are even worse,” to be positive thinking.

If there really were 57,000 sealed indictments you can be sure that details would have been leaked to key Democrats in any case.

This event should be a wake-up call for the country. Democrats will do anything, beyond belief, to stop Trump from being successful and moving the country forward.

I could imagine if Yeb! was president.

He’d be residing in the basement of the White House about now.

Please clap.

I was reading my hometown newspaper online this morning.
Fargo, North Dakota. It makes it very clear that if Heitkamp votes no she has no chance of winning in November.

She has a choice to make. Please Schumer, be out of a job.

That thought has crossed my mind more than once. If so it was a cold move for BK and his family.

It's crossed my mind as well in so far as to say, once we nominate someone like Brett Kavanaugh the democrats are going to go crazy and that will show some people what we're up against.

I'm sure this was discussed with the Kavanaugh family, in fact Mrs. Kav said so on her FOX interview. Honestly, everyone on the President's list knows that the dems are going to unload on them. They remember Bork and Thomas.

But NO reasonable person expected the level of sheer madness and buffoonery we've seen the last couple of weeks. I've been preaching about the true face of the democrat party for years...I know them for what they are..and I was STILL surprised at how low and disgusting they chose to be in response to this nomination.

But if Kavanaugh is not confirmed, much of that enthusiasm will be dampened by despair and distrust. People will not consistently vote for a party that consistently fails them.

If the GOP is seen to be fighting for Kavanaugh it won't be a disaster. If they just curl their tail between their legs and wander off they'll be done for.

Lindsay Graham got this one right. If he gets voted down, renominate him and then wage a national election war about it.

BUT...I fully expect the nomination to be confirmed.

I disagree. If Kavanaugh is not confirmed due to this character assassination vendetta, it will enrage the not-so-silent-anymore majority.

Polling already indicates a movement away from the Dems toward Republicans for the mid-term elections, with a number of 'Pubbie candidates showing surges against their Democrat opponents. If that trend continues, Demmie losses will expand, not Republican.

“I don’t consider, “Vote Republican because the Democrats are even worse,” to be positive thinking.”

It may not be positive but it is correct thinking.

And, I should add, it isn’t that the Democrats are only slightly worse. Because the hard left took a scorched Earth policy there can be no quarter with them they must be defeated in this election and the next or there will never be another actual election again. Look at what they are saying. The fringe is driving the party. You may not like that RINO you are voting for but here is the difference between that guy and the Democrat, the Rino doesn’t want to put you in a concentration camp. That RINO doesn’t want you dead. The Democrats are openly preaching a Final Solution. Do not imagine that they don’t really mean it or that cooler heads will prevail. They won’t.

This is not an election to make a protest vote for some 3rd party because you don’t like the RINO in your district.

Unfortunately, a defamatory statement is a false statement of fact that exposes a person to hatred, ridicule, or contempt, causes him to be shunned, or injures him in his business or trade. Defamation is a “tort,” which is a civil offense. That means you can’t go to jail for it, but you can be sued in civil court and made to pay money to the person that sued you.

Well, I have a better Idea, I think: Since the accusations against Kavanaugh are so public and there is a tie-in to many of the political bodies and organizations from the liberal side that have tried to use it, sue every one of them and the money collected can go to Justice Kavanaugh’s favorite charities after his costs and time is covered. And since he is recognized as a conservative judge, it will be good campaign fodder for the upcoming election in 2020 and beyond. And the donations will be coming right out of the hands of the liberal (socialist) party. Just make sure that the liberal party is thanked for being so evil and stupid with their politics of hatred. Top of the list will be Diane Feinstein, Christine Ford, The New York Times, and whoever backed the three accusers, Julie Swetnick, Christine Ford, and Deborah Ramirez. I’d say that should make a nice substantial gift to a few charities coffers.
