Election 2018: While the Democrats and their sycophantic allies in the mainstream media have tried to assassinate the character of a good man and lifelong public servant as well as his family, they have also done the Republican Party a huge favor.
The more Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh is savaged by the lunatic Left, the higher in the polls GOP House and Senate candidates rise.

The Rats have to know this, and by now are counting only on violence on Nov. 7.
Like last election, when they ALL got away with it.
Think they got a bump out of this now? Wait until the riots start next week.
The Boston Herald reported further: According to [a] recently released report, the percent of Americans saying they have a favorable view of Republicans now stands at 45 percent, up from 36 percent. Favorability for Democrats stands at 44 percent, exactly where it was last September.
This is the highest favorability for Republicans since January 2011, when it stood at 47 percent just after Republicans gained control of Congress in the 2010 midterm elections.
The embarrassing behavior of Feinstein et.al. is even embarrassing many democrats who still have some real brain matter. (The non vitriol types, old time democrats)
THIS is why he gets confirmed.
Democrats (at least senior level ones who understand politics) see this is a LOSER and the best move is to cut and run.
Whether their screwball base will go along is another question.
I don’t know what to hope for.
Do I hope Kavenaugh simply gets confirmed?
I confess my own sense of righteousness says this is best.
Weather the storm, stick to your guns and prevail, and all that.
Victory over powerful opposition. Courage. Valor. Spit in
the face of Evil, and die fighting if necessary.
Or do I hope (because I do fear and suspect) that he’s voted down;
because that will enrage The Right (where I live) and strengthen
the backlash vote, and cause a Red Wave more effectively. Humans
often “go back to sleep” after a danger has passed. Complacency
returns. Keep the often wishy-washy Pubbies motivated by simple
outrage, if that’s the only way.
This storm of Pasture Pucks has destroyed the man, and made him
unemployable. I think we OWE him the job after this gauntlet of
insanity and patent unfairness. Even so, All This will still be a
footnote and asterisk forever. It cannot be erased, the words can’t
be unsaid. The stain of the ugly accusation is permanent.
If the vote goes against the Left, I think they’ll riot, and people
will get killed, businesses will be burned out, and general chaos
will ensue. Pubbies are much less likely to riot.
I know this: Pubbies are fighting a holding action oversll, and
the Left is always on the aggressive attack. Incrementalism is
one of their best weapons. They’re like the Borg — resistance
is futile, they just keep coming, relentlessly, forever.
To fight a holding action is intrinsically weak. There is no
victory possible. Constant attack ultimately always tires a
holding action out, and it loses its belly for the fight, and
either surrenders or makes a cowardly Bad Deal to be allowed
to live and escape. The Initiative is with the active, not the
passive side. Having the initiative is crucial to winning.
Therefore, the Courage to fight hard and smart and thoroughly,
is the only way to win, and, ultimately, the only way to survive.
It’ll be very interesting to see how this all turns out.
When democrats had an opportunity the question Ford they spend the whole time telling her how ‘courageous’ she was - - rather than asking questions that mattered.. Now they’re blaming the FBI for not asking questions THEY should have asked.
Democrats crying over spilled milk.
Which will hopefully strengthen the walkaway movement...while sad for those harmed of course.

We're in a bad spot right now. If Kavanaugh is confirmed, the left and right coasts will go over the top. If he isn't confirmed, the heartland will give up on the gov solving the problems the nation faces.
I say the way to go is to confirm him, or the next election means a whole lot less 'pubs in DC. The mob will have won.
Post #7 - you’re doing a whole lot more thinking than is necessary, my friend. You’re trying to set up chess pieces on the board for the best possible outcome but none of us can maneuver the game so fine. That’s why the Democrats lost in 2016, they thought they had the board set up just right. Game theory.
I don’t think 80 is obtainable. Neither is 70. But 60 is, and if the DEMs hadn’t overplayed their hand with Kavanaugh, it would have been less than 60.
"Do you believe in elemental decency--basic fairness? We do!" should be our campaign battle cry! Most Americans are not ideological in a strict sense. But the idea of savaging a decent man for political motives is repugnant to many of every persuasion.
It's why "Mister Smith Goes to Washington," still stirs viewers' emotions.
Red wave spotted.
Up more than 8 in ND Since the Kavanaugh fiasco.... a 10 point swing in TN
This isn’t a red bump.... This is a DECENCY TSUNAMI!!!
While this fiasco by the dems certainly unified and motivated the GOP... but the real story is this cirucs and repugnant behavior ENGAGED AND ENRAGED THE INDEPENDENT, DISENFRANCHISED AND CROSS OVER VOTER..... This group will now show up, and break 2-1 if not more in the GOP favor.. not because they suddenly have become Republican... no... it is because they are disgusted by the Dems and will punish them for it.
To, try to play what the Dems have done as simply the GOP base coming together is WRONG...
I find it interesting that not a single upper midwest state has had a poll since this kavangugh allegation fiasco started... Sadly GOP is so far down, in the stated Trump took here, that I don’t expect it to change the outcome... but I think they will be a good indicator of just how much of a general impact this fiasco is going to have for the Dems...
This house votes on election day. This year, we’ll be voting early.
