Can anyone explain the legal mechanism where one of a thousand-plus federal judges can block anything the President does? Why must the President comply? What prevents him from ignoring the judge and just continuing on his course?

It seems by blocking the president’s orders the judges automatically have the same power as the president. Surely that isn’t the case.

Haven't there been credible anonymous Internet allegations about sexual molestation and rape of underage girls by this judge?

Or was it underage boys, considering that he's from Sodom Francisco?

I think that it is because Mr. Trump is in a precarious position despite his popularity. The congress is filled with people who want him gone, and would use the defying of a court order, no matter how outrageous, as reason enough to impeach and convict him. For now, Pres. Trump needs to tread carefully.

seems that way to me too. As much as the JD wants to think they are connected to the Judicial Branch as an arm of the Supremes, they are the Executive branch. Trump should tell Chen to bugger off and do what he needs to do anyway. Let the Supremes decide after the fact and then Executive can challenge the Judicial and force the Legislative Branch to break the tie or no. 2/3rds vs 1/3
