Gender: New Jersey Parents Last To Know

The state of New Jersey has a new regulation in its Department of Education: a provision that prevents schools from informing parents of their child's preferred gender and gender pronouns. New Jersey became the eleventh state to have a specific gender provision in its state regulations, per NorthJersey.com. The local newspaper claimed that the rules are "intended to promote a safe and successful learning environment for [children]."

The regulation, which was signed into law by former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, says that gender identity decisions reside with the student, not the parents, despite the fact that students are children and not adults in the eyes of the law. Typically, the legal and education systems lean heavily on parental notice and authority in issues surrounding children.

The guidance includes the following rules:

~School staff must use a student's preferred name and gender pronoun in all communications, verbal, written and in e-mails,

~Students can participate in athletics according to whichever gender they ascribe to,

~A student's gender identity does not require paperwork, such as a legal name change, diagnosis or treatment,

~Students can freely access restrooms, locker rooms and changing facilities according to their gender identity

~The student's birth name must be kept confidential by the school

As NorthJersey reported, the New Jersey Education Commissioner, Lamont Repollet, said school officials should have an "open yet confidential discussion" with the student about privacy issues and their preferred name, because "[i]t's the obligation of all educators to provide a safe and welcoming school environment so all students throughout the state can achieve their full potential."

His use of the term "normals" was calculated to drive the left completely crazy...

A new "N" word, and a serious "trigger" for those who are not!

A school in NJ now could have as
many as 71 different soccer teams
on any given day.

Just picture the confirmation hearings some 20+ years from now. . .

No, all they have to do is say they “identify” as the other “gender.” “Transgendered” people do not have to change anything but their feelings to be fully privileged over normals.

Regarding schools that ignore the will of the parents, patriots are reminded that the Founding States gave the feds the explicit constitutional power to guarantee each state in the union a republican form of government.
Article IV, Section 4: The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government [emphasis added], and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.

H O W E V E R …

We’re still stuck with a corrupt Congress left over from the lawless Obama Administration that will predictably not lift a finger to exercise its power to make punitive laws to discourage activist state actors from nullifying voting power.

The remedy for federal and state lawmakers who ignore the will of the voters …

Patriots in all states need to come to the rescue of patriots in activist states like New Jersey and California by doing the following.

Patriots need to elect as many patriot lawmakers as they can in the 2018 midterm elections who will be willing to make punitive laws that discourage state actors from ignoring the will of the people, parents of schoolchildren in this example.

Where are the conservative politicians who would oppose this insanity? Such a common sense opposition would win immediate support despite any attempt by the media to vilify those opposed. Come on people, learn from Kavanaugh and grow a backbone!

1. Given those rules, I don’t see how they can keep the parents from knowing.

2. If children are responsible enough for such a decision then they are responsible enough to decide when to drink, buy a firearm, etc, and any law proposing what this one does should include such things.

3. If the legislature wants to take parental responsibility then it should assume financial responsibility...out of the pockets of the legislators not the taxpayers.

The students need to check with God first. . . He created them the way He wanted them.

A new "N" word, and a serious "trigger" for those who are not!

I have a new policy. Anyone who uses the word "trigger" and doesn't have a gun in their hand is out of my life forever. Really don't want to get involved in someone else's pseudo panic, hyperventilation or excuses. Plus, they are all idiot democrats.

Sounds like the kids are being setup for sexual exploitation.

In Illinois the schools can send girls to an abortion clinic without telling the parents after a teacher gets them pregnant.

In Jersey it might be gender but everyplace else it’s better known as SEX.
