Yes, and that would be the next time to vote her out. Of course, I doubt people will remember this day 4 years from now.

If Flake is yes, then Collins is yes. They were both ok with the FBI report.

Some people can remember they had only 1 beer at a party that may not have taken place 36 years ago.

Also, think about it, Murkowski was a ‘no’ because she knew it wouldn’t matter.

You would think if her vote really would have mattered, at the very least she would have voted for cloture to at least keep the debate going.

Collins, Flake, and Manchin could have just voted No to cloture and that alone would have ended Kavanaugh. Then they could be off for the weekend. They didn’t vote No.

Good thought process. They could have ended it today and not waste everyone's time tomorrow. Tired of being held hostage by these RINOs

Don’t believe it til he votes. He qualified it with a “as long as nothing changes.” That’s always an out.

Manchin will wait til he knows exactly who will win. He will NEVER be a “swing” vote that makes a difference.

They need to pass a sore-loser law, so she can’t lose the primary and have Democrats and independents write her in so that a conservative loses. If they do that, we can finally be rid of her.

BEcause a number of Senators were NOT in the room when the vote started. They voted after the others voted.

Agreed. And now it seems there are reports that Ford’s friend (the former FBI agent) tried to get Leland to “clarify” her statement. In other words, LIE.

I am very concerned about having to rely on Collins, Flake, Murkowski, Manchin, and Donnelly to approve this nomination. Of all the people in the Senate, these 3 RINO’s and 2 Dems are the least dependable.

I think Manchin is VERY grateful to Trump for the coal jobs coming back to W Va.

As long as the GOP puts up 50, he’s a yes...

He was probably going to lose his re-election before this Kavanaugh fiasco... but he knew from the get go if he went against TRUMP on this, any shot at re-election was done....

His vote was NEVER EVER in doubt... so long as it wasn’t the one that put Kavanaugh over the top. Once He’s over the top, I think you will be surprised... But the GOP HAVE to put up 50.. No democrat will be the 50th vote, but once he’s got 50, you’ll see a few more fall in..

Confirmation with 52-55 votes.
