No way in hell coward Manchin would vote to put Kavanaugh over, """

"HE DID VOTE YES"

If Manchin votes yes on confirmation it will only be as the 49th vote. Schumer is allowing him cover for his re-election bid. Collins, Flake, and Murkowski are likely no votes when the whip's tally math is clearer. The whole angst over Kavanaugh is only a means to resist Trump.

My GUESS is that Collins is preparing a statement on WHY she will vote yes. I think the harassment she has received, the vitriol & hatred has driven her into the yes camp. She’s from a liberal state & I see no point in trashing her for representing her constituents instead of those of us in Arizona.

My political guesses are right about as often as Dick Morris’s. More often than Karl Rove, perhaps, but not by much - so my odds of being wrong are high! I still cling to a tiny shred of idealism that makes me want to believe that politicians SOMETIMES try to do right by their constituents. Sure hope Flake does.

BTW - heard on the radio that Martha McSally, running for Flake’s seat, has said she would vote for Kavanaugh if she was the senator from Arizona.

No corroboration:

Websters:
Definition of corroborate. transitive verb
to support with evidence or authority : make more certain

Websters:
substantial, verb
See corroboration as a synonym.

Witnesses; All have denied her allegations. What ever happened to Ramirez? Punked out is my guess.

Dr. Ford: No place, no year even though you claim you were 15. You can't do math? Typical socialist professor who is passed on with their weak thesis. Not ONE of your so-called witnesses can back up your claims. Plus, you're a known liberal activist - what a surprise you wouldn't want a Constitutional USSC justice that will possibly kill your socialist agenda.

And the pink pussy hat crowd should be supporting her because why? Right...she's a female who always tells the truth and men are evil and should be castrated according to Professor Fair at Georgetown U. Her words, "“All of them deserve miserable deaths while feminists laugh as they take their last gasps,” Fair’s tweet continued. “Bonus: we castrate their corpses and feed them to swine? Yes.”. Still not fired.

Senator Schumer, I heard you molested young boys back in college. Prove it's wrong.

Senator Feinsteen, were you and/or your husband in cahoots with your Chinese spy driver for 20 years? Prove it's wrong.

Alyssa Milano, heard from a friend of a friend you enjoy golden water sports? Prove it's wrong.

Maxine Waters, heard from a friend of a friend that you played with young girls in your college days. Prove it's wrong.

Also, when I owned a film distribution company back in the early 90's and visited New Line Cinema HQ to improve the booking system, I have a vague recollection that Robert Shaye (the founder of New Line) grabbed my ass in his office while touching my thigh. Lawyer up and do your research Mr. Shaye and prove me wrong. Your secretary/assistant could be my witness, not to mention the talk at New Line about your proclivities. I'm willing to go to a "therapist" and take a polygraph to discover the exact repressed memories and hire an attorney. I want 3 million dollars for that assault. Prove me wrong.

I could go on and on, but made my point. Really starting to think a Red Wave is coming next month.

The fake allegations Democrats haven’t yet made up don’t come into existence until they’re observed. Sort of like a quantum allegation or something.

So I guess you have to pretend to be an anti-whomever campaigner and drag the proverbial hundred dollar bill through the asylum, and see what turns up.

Time for McConnell to play hardball. A no vote from Murkowski on Kavanaugh will mean removing her from her committee chairmanships.

But do that after the vote tomorrow...lol, wouldn't want Collins to get her panties in a wad.

It’s indicative. But doesn’t count and, of course, minds can change.

Did she announce this on the Senate floor or in a press conference.

I thought so, as well. DiFi is obviously shorter than Murk, but also obviously standing over her. I believe this was taken on the 26th or 27th of September...so it has been during this process.

Well that is certainly true. There will have to be concrete rules regarding this if we are to be governable in the future. Senators will have to be like juries, instructed to only take into account the actual evidence. And evidence ONLY.

I fear America is becoming ungovernable anyway thanks to the lunatic left...

I knew Flake and Collins would vote yes and if one didn’t it would be Leesa Merkowsky, who wasn’t giving any indication of her intentions. What did your GF Difi say to you, Lisa? I also figured Manchin would likely vote yes.

Collins, unlike Flake who cowered before them, seems offended by the protesters that accosted her. Good for her, she has some nads. Despite her status as one of the most liberal GOP Senators we should back her reelection in Maine (there isn’t going to be a viable primary challenger anyway, not now).

Murkowski was the only Republican Senator I did not endorse in the last election, because 2010 GOP nominee Joe Miller was the Libertarian nominee and polling ahead the desultory rat nominee who actually ended up placing 4th behind Miller and a liberal-leaning indie. (An amusing aside, “Libertarian” VP nominee Bill Weld endorsed.....Lisa! Over the only Libertarian nominee with the slightest chance of getting elected!)

We must not let time (unfortunately she’s not up til 2022) cool our passion. We must ensure a strong Republican runs in Alaska (whether Lisa bothers with the GOP primary or not), someone like Miller won’t do, he lost to her when she was a write in and that’s weak. I hope Palin isn’t teasing.

And we must encourage the far left to run against her (”Indie” Governor Bill Walker was running in the rat primary this year until Begich ran.) The party brass would back her but Murkowski could have trouble in a rat primary against a viable foe, and a rat nominee of decent strength (if she runs as an Indie) would ensure a GOP win in a 3-way race.

Manchin probably ensured his reelection but we should do everything we can to encourage the rat base to abandon him, they already hated him. It is very unfortunate that the Green party was apparently kicked off the ballot in WV.

I’d bet everything I own that Murky had decided some time ago that this would be her last term and that she’s lined up a gig at the Amazon Post or MSLSD.
