Time for Cocaine Mitch to bring her in and tell her she bought her state a giant radioactive waste dump if that vote doesn’t change fast.

She doesn’t care - AK is a huge state. She’d only care if the dump surrounded her home ... and maybe not then.

She just got reelected. Mitch will deal with her, her career is over.

Even if we lose Flake, we still have tie breaker with Pence

If we lose Flake and/or Collins, we lose Manchin. It’ll be over.

That’s an outstanding idea...the North American nuclear waste repository can be just north of Anchorage...give them Canada’s too just for good measure.

>>>Cowski must be primaried out.

She WAS primaried. In 2010 she was primaried out...then a write-in campaign brought her back in.

Good point. I would feel good about Flake and Collins based on their comments yesterday, but all common sense is long gone in this freak show.

Too many people jumping to conclusions and getting the vapors already. As far as I’m concerned whatever happens to Kavanaugh tomorrow the Dems will have won a hollow victory at a steep price! They’re gonna get their lunch handed to them in November if Kavanaugh is confirmed or not!

Murkowski is a Romney person who was anti-tea party and extremely establishment to the absolute core. Like Rubio and a couple others, she is in wait for Romney to be in the senate.

So does a yes cloture vote imply a yes confirmation vote?

Not necessarily.

I was thinking the same thing...likewise a No vote on cloture doesn't guarantee a No vote on confirmation.

Murkowski may yet surprise us...

“What is up with Lisa????”

First, an innate hatred of Sarah Palin for taking out Sen Murkowski’s father from the political scene. Sen Murkowski is definitely a Daddy’s Girl.

Second, an innate hatred of every thing Republican because she lost a primary and she had to resort to going as an Independent with the help of the Democrats to get the seat she currently occupies.

Third, I truly believe she’s one very unhappy woman. And that is never a good thing, least of all if she’s got the power to cause trouble to folks.

I’m concerned about Susan Collins’ presser at 3:00 PM. Why would she bring such attention to a “yes” vote? Especially with the vitriolic atmosphere toward the Senators right now? I’m afraid she may be going to try to explain why she’s voting “no.”

Murkowski’s vote speaks volumes. She, apparently, believes a person’s fate should be decided by mob rule. Kavanaugh is very qualified to be a SCJ and no evidence has been presented to find him ‘guilty’. She should hope she or her husband are never falsely accused. imho, she’s a coward and should immediately be removed from any Senate Committee she may be on.
