I don’t get it.

Is she planning on voting no for Kavanaugh?

And what’s the connection with Montana?

I’m missing something here.

If she votes present, the RATs only have 48 No votes - so the Montana Senator’s vote isn’t need (his daughter has a wedding). It will pass 50-48.

If she voted no, it might set it up for a need for him to be there. This way, his vote is not “needed” to win.
