which is why I stay in the Great Lakes region where the cold keeps them away! LOL
Snake-B-Gon is only one in a long product range of animal repellents from Ortho, so these guys know their animal repellents. How the Snake Repellent Granules by Snake-B-Gon work. Snake-B-Gon contains Castor Oil, Clove Oil, Cinnamon Oil, Geraniol and Peppermint Oil
In other locations around the State I saw Water Moccasins , Copperheads, 1 Coral Snake. And plenty of Nonvenomous Species.
I lived in: Houston, Austin, Manor, Canyon Lake, Universal City (N.E. S/A), Elmendorf, Junction, Kerrville, Boerne, Denton, Ingram, Comfort, Leander, Killeen, Harker Heights, Gatesville, Lago Vista and Camped in many Parks and Woods.
Sir Squantos I'll wager You've seen one or ten out Your way ?
That’s not too different from the formula for homemade gopher repellent that I made. Which didn’t work. But it does sound like it would be noxious smelling to animals.
You do know that I was making a joke about the horse hair right? :)
I use Mothballs or Crystals if needed.
LOL True enough about the horse.
The old cowboy tale was that you could lay the horse hair rope around your bedroll while you slept and a rattlesnake wouldn’t cross it. I kinda figgered that probably doesn’t work. :)
Oh yes, I’d forgotten about that. I’ll have to say God watched over Me because I did a fair amount of sleeping on the ground over the years and never got snake bit or even a visit in the bedroom/sleeping bag. No rope involved.
