All we must do is simply NOT accept the Democrat-socialist narrative that Kavanaugh is devisive or tainted in any way. That is the truth. Elections have consequences and the 2018 midterms is “We The People” driving home to the stupid people, that YES our votes for Donald J Trump was not a fluke, or interference from Russia! Our 2016 victory vote was purposeful and we will prove it by snuffing the left out in the midterms.
We must win in the midterms and our vote victory must be OVERWHELMING!

Exactly. Peterson fails to measure the cost to the Country of BK stepping aside. No only will he be painted as guilty by the left anyway but the Republican side will be sent into disarray and lose any cohesiveness and governing authority. No other candidate will be able to be successfully confirmed unless nominated by the left.
There is no higher authority on Earth that can declare "Bret Kavanaugh is innocent" so the quixotic act JP suggested has no chance of success. JP was apparently exploring an idea but should not have posted before examining the downside risk & cost from following his recommendation. Can it be he has never personally been targeted by the left?

I agree with you. However, some things are so wrong, so morally indefensible, that you cannot get over them. He is a Canuck commenting on American politics, which is really dangerous to start, but then he totally loses it when he seems to not understand what being a man is all about.
Good point, there may be repressed hostility on the basis of USMCA, which emerged in a passive aggressive manner.
IMO BK stepping down as suggested would destroy the midterms and cause the House to switch majority, punishing the party that negotiated the treaty.

The two outcomes that he found unacceptable were the appeasement of the left via the ruination of Justice Kavanaugh, and the seeming discounting of a “credible” “victim” of abuse. To which, Dr. Peterson replied in an off-the-cuff manner:

His first is a fast, off-the-cuff response to Dr. Weinstein’s previous positing of a perceived dilemma, followed by the second, which is explicitly ambivalent about the worth of the first.
The first is a quickly-blurted out response to something. The second is the second thought.

Go and watch some of Peterson’s videos. He is an awesome advocate against the left and a defender of Western Civilization. I don’t know why he made this ridiculous comment about Kav as it seems completely out of character and against everything he stands for. In any case it would be a huge mistake to throw him overboard without a lot more information.
One stupid statement among 1000 brilliant ones and it’s time to throw him under the bus?
He’s given guidance to a lot of lost young men and pretty much all of them are headed to conservatism now. These young men were lost because they went to public school that taught them all kinds of untruths that they just couldn’t reconcile.
I bought a few of his books because he was being trashed by the left. After his rant, no more. I didn’t even like his books - he dumps thousands of words on the page with no apparent meaning. He goes on and on, blathering about nothing. For a while, you think he’s saying something, but he isn’t. I threw away his book in disgust.
Peterson is not a conservative, nor is he a modern liberal.
He is a 1960 style liberal. Think JFK.
He’s a good stepping stone for young men who have been brainwashed by the progressive left.
