Several questions for Democrats
Vanity | 10/8/18 | Republicanprofessor

Several questions for Democrats:

1) What was the last constructive thing that the Democrats did for this country? (Protesting, whining, disrupting hearings and “resistance” does not count as constructive. Signing a new trade agreement between Canada, Mexico and the U.S. is constructive.)

2) What constructive plans do the Democrats have in case they do win the House? I’m not sure that axing the tax cuts and abolishing ICE are constructive.

3) What would the country and world look like now if Hillary had been elected? Consider these issues: first, there would probably have been no #MeToo movement; the investigations and stories about Weinstein (and all subsequent assaulters) would not have come out with the wife of abuser and rapist Bill Clinton in office. Secondly, there would have been no tax cuts, and no economic rush to prosperity. Isis would still be strong. North Korea? China? Would there have been more favorable trade deals negotiated? Doubtful. So what would Hillary have done, and where would our country be now?

4) What was the last great invention, work of art, music, theater, or poetry created under a socialist regime? What would our millennials (and older adults as well) do without their smartphones, internet, video games, etc.? ALL of these were created under free enterprise and capitalism.

The final question is for President Trump: 5) Is anyone reading all those 30,000 emails of Hillary’s that were “lost”? Oh, the FBI has them, I guess. Maybe that answers my question. But I would love to find out the dirt behind Benghazi. Where were Obama and Hillary that night?

Question #6. Under Hilary, what would the Supreme Court look like and how would that be effecting our society?

Related to question 2 is “why on earth would we listen to the media’s advice on persecuting people like Brett Kavanaugh when 41% of women in media, the highest of any white collar industry, report being sexually harassed at work?”

The "casting couch" is not only in Hollywood. You have lots of attractive women competing to get the slot in front of the camera. It would not be surprising if a number of them decide that sleeping with the guy who makes the pick is the way to get there.

Boil that all down into a sound bite slogan.

“It simply ISN’T SAFE to vote Democrat!”

There are many, many legitimate questions that decent Americans could ask the Rats.I'd ask them just one:

HOW DO YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT?

Modern dems only destroy. Even when they think they did constructive things, they destroy.

1) What was the last constructive thing that the Democrats did for this country? (Protesting, whining, disrupting hearings and “resistance” does not count as constructive. Signing a new trade agreement between Canada, Mexico and the U.S. is constructive.)

Everything they do is constructive. The problem is, it’s for their communist purposes. They are Communists. A socialist is a Communist who is trying to trick you. Imagine a world where we could be “Republicans” but the end goal was “Complete and total, Bundy-protest style of freedom from government where we were all armed and able to take care of ourselves”. We would be “republicans” but the end goal would surpass Republican. that’s how they operate. It’s like us, only the opposite.

2) What constructive plans do the Democrats have in case they do win the House? I’m not sure that axing the tax cuts and abolishing ICE are constructive.

The further dismantling of the last bastion of capitalism and freedom on the earth. Like Reagan said, “When it’s gone, there is no where else to go”. They want that last bastion of freedom and capitalism to be destroyed.

3) What would the country and world look like now if Hillary had been elected? Consider these issues: first, there would probably have been no #MeToo movement; the investigations and stories about Weinstein (and all subsequent assaulters) would not have come out with the wife of abuser and rapist Bill Clinton in office. So what would Hillary have done, and where would our country be now?

By week 2 I am convinced there would have been a nuclear detonation on US soil. If Hillary were president now we would be in the stone age. It would happen that quickly.

4) What was the last great invention, work of art, music, theater, or poetry created under a socialist regime? What would our millennials (and older adults as well) do without their smartphones, internet, video games, etc.? ALL of these were created under free enterprise and capitalism.

Most of my favorite music is from Europe. I don’t think Socialism has anything to do with producing bad art. Except Rap. Rap is only possible when music can directly translate to money. Sigur Ros, Bjork, etc. They come from heavily socialist - almost communist - countries. Some great art has come out of Communism because along with happiness and triumph leading to great music, desperation and depression also produces some of the most profound art in human’s history.

My question for Trump is this: Mid terms are coming up. Where is my national reciprocation ?

Where are my awesome gun rights ?

Yes, there have been some great socialist/communist works, before Stalin cracked down. The Russian Constructivists (Malevich, Tatlin, and others) were doing dynamic abstractions when Lenin was in power. But then Stalin cracked down on works he did not understand. The great composer Shostakovich has a wonderful tension in his work that shows what his living conditions were like, the balance between creativity and the Communist party. Every time he left the house, he took his toothbrush and soap, uncertain if he would be picked up like other friends he had known.

There is also a period of creativity with the Mexican muralists: Rivera, Orozco, Siquieros and Kahlo.

This was all in the 1920’s and 1930’s, when Communist was still new and fairly fresh with ideas. When the rulers cracked down, that was the end of creativity in Russia.

What has been created recently in Venezuela, North Korea or even Russia? Not much....

Name one piece of legislation, ever, that was authored, championed, and mentored through and ...with a strong majority vote, by Democrats, that improved equal rights and human dignity...?

Democrats are arsonists. Arsonists don't construct, they destroy.

I wanted to post this on my Facebook page, but I dread leftist reaction to it.

Maybe a more impersonal posting on the leftist sites you mention may be the way to.

I’m am SERIOUSLY underqualified to even talk to you about this, you know your stuff and I would like to take the position of student to your lessons. For that, I would love to focus more on what you are saying.

What I can see, and have been seeing, is the terrible - simply TERRIBLE Chinese art forms. They have been devolved into Chinese traditional movements that are designed to inhibit any progressive ideas among the people.

Like the love affair of classical music in the Communist regimes. Kids were required to learn classical compositions and not even allowed to break free into any breaking of new grounds.

I’m also reminded of Banksy, as I have been a lot lately. His art is super depressing. I can’t help but to think if he were an American with a quality American upbringing if his street art would be more cerebral, celebratory and life-affirming.

There is the street art of another German artist, but I can’t remember it. It also went hand-in-hand with online interactive animations that complimented his static street art. Neat stuff that still captured urban blight, but underscored it with a sort of hopefulness that folks like the now very popular Banksy seem to miss.

When you post something I need to take a few hours to look up each reference and understand. I appreciate that, thanks !

The percentage of people in front of the camera is small compared to the percentage behind the camera. Especially true when you factor in all forms of media, not just TV. This percentage is for the overall number and 41% that have admitted as much tells me that people who live in glass houses should not throw stones, particularly not at brick houses.
