College educated white women favor Democrats by nearly 27 points in 69 midterm battleground House races, while white women without a college degree favor Republicans by 4 points in those races, according to a poll released Monday.

According to the Washington Post/Schar poll of the battleground districts, college-educated white women prefer the Democratic candidate in their districts by an overwhelming 62 to 35 percent. In those same districts, white women without a college degree favor the GOP candidate 49 to 45 percent.

That split is also present among all white voters. The difference is less start for college-educated white voters, but it grows to 9 percent for those without a college degree.

Overall, 55 percent of white college graduates surveyed said they prefer their local Democratic candidate, while 42 percent reported backing their Republican.

White voters without college degrees back their GOP candidate by 53 to 42 percent.

The Post reports, that educational divide was also noticed in the 2016 presidential election, but has a wider gap heading into the midterms.

The migration of college educated women, especially those who live in the suburbs, to the Democrat Party is a trend over several election cycles. The question is: will the fight over the Supreme Court nomination accelerate the movement, slow it, or reverse it. The Democrats expected more support from this group during the Supreme Court fight, but it didn't happen. In fact, this group favored the Republicans over this issue.

The recent changes in poll results, especially in battleground districts, calls the Blue Wave into question. Is the Blue Wave really dead, and was it a female wave all along?

All that proves is that college destroys your ability to think rationally.

So these women think it wouldn’t destroy their homes if a woman accused their husbands of rape when he was 17? If that’s the case, they love their politics more than their husbands and their children.

Always the same poop every election cycle. So what if college educated women support Dems by 27 or 97 points. Is that enough to overcome the damage the Dems have done to themselves in other groups? Even if every college educated woman showed up to vote dem would that even be enough?

Always the Dems seek to slice the electorate with the hope that each group will vote like a monolithic block. It doesn’t usually happen without Obama on the ballot.

Heh, they may have gone to college, but they are certainly not educated.
Marshmallow majors abound, with resulting lack of intellect and thought.

What college does is create a sense of self-consciousness that other “smart” people might think that YOU’RE not smart if you support Trump.

I think something very much like the Wilder Effect is going on here. Perhaps Suburban women are afraid to tell a pollster how they’ll vote out of fear of being thought of as dumb. But in the end they’ll vote R.

Anymore college is nothing but a political indoctrination center running a student visa immigration scam. Increasingly I say defund it all.

A college education is no longer an indication of intelligence, it is now a branding of brainwashing from the left.
