Job burnout is an occupational hazard in politics. After eight years, she reached her limit.
For some people, theres life after politics.
In any case, time to roll out Ambassador Bolton for a return visit to the U.N., this time with a full senate confirmation.
Imagine going to the UN everyday to work.
He does seem to have a knack for finding middle ground and talking sense to a variety of people evidently.
And evidently he and Ivanka are in pretty good shape if they can run/jog 10 miles. I guess you need some stamina to have someone like Ivanka as a wife. ;~)
I hope to God Ivanka isn’t given the role.
All she seems to do is attend ‘meetings’ and make silly little videos showcasing said ‘meetings’. I have heard not one original eloquent thought come out of her mouth. Not one.
Maybe she serves a greater purpose but she seems to be nothing but a self publicist clearly with further ambitions. She is unquestionably a liberal and should Trump give her the UN role it for me would be the single biggest mistake of his presidency and she would no doubt push her liberal agenda (immigration/climate hoax) there. The press would have a field day. It is an unconceivable distraction. Dislike Haley as much as I do, she has done her work (or Trumps) under the radar. Ivanka will not.
I hope the idea is snuffed out very very quickly.
Doesn’t matter—Kushner is too conflicted and shouldn’t be there.
Haley has done a good job in this position.
Didn’t like her all that well but when she agreed to serve she has been solid in her performance.
Also, despite every possible privilege he needed millions of criminal Dad’s funds to get into Harvard.
Bolton’s been there and done that. I think he’s too valuable at NSA to be put back in the septic tank that is the UN. Now, Sebastian Gorka would fit in the UN and take it down a peg or two...
Too bad, she was a tiger on the world stage staring down the UN despot club. I hope her replacement is as capable of putting the NWO in it’s place and keeping America great again.
You are absolutely correct! I doubt any of those things would have been accomplished without him.
My impression is that he likes to work in the background, behind the scene and doesn't crave the publicity and accolades.
The Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell is being floated as a replacement...as is deputy NSA Dina Powell.
Our local (conservative) talk show host theorized this:
(after the election)
Nicky Haley steps down.
Lindsey Graham steps down.
Jeff Sessions is finally fired as AG.
Lindsey becomes the new AG.
Nicky is appointed to Lindsey Graham’s senate seat.
(Both Lindsey and Nicky are from South Carolina)
What do you think?
Nope - she’s just saying the Trump family has been good to her...masterful way of getting out ahead of the leaks and de-fanging the already demoralized Dems by taking away any “turmoil” claims...they had their hopes up for about an hour and had them crushed...
Not hard to imagine that Trump wants either Ivanka or Jared in the position. He can't afford to appoint any GOP Senator as of now. This will be interesting.
A couple of years ago, I said Kimberly Guilfoyle would become head of the RNC, but that's off the table now. Personally, I'd like to see Daniel Greenfield get an advisory role somewhere in the Admin.
How about Walid Phares?
