Blue Wave Fizzles: Martha McSally Now Leads Krysten Sinema By 6 Points In Arizona

After the news of Marsha Blackburn opened up an 8 point lead on Phil Breseden in Tennessee, Trumpthusiasm has now spread to Arizona.

A new poll shows Republican Martha McSally is now on top of Kyrsten Sinema by 6 points in the race to replace Jeff Flake.

Phoenix based ABC15 reports:

“A new poll of Arizona’s contested Senate race shows front-runner Republican Martha McSally increasing her lead over Democrat Kyrsten Sinema.

In the latest ABC15/OH Predictive Insights poll, McSally has a six-point edge on Sinema, 47 percent to 41 percent. Eight percent said they had yet to decide on a candidate.

“What we saw all year was Republicans were less united compared to Democrats, who were more united or fully united,” Noble said. “So whether they disliked Trump or had issues with the establishment, now what we’ve seen is [the] Kavanaugh confirmation process has really brought all those Republicans home and has solidified the Republican base, hence why you’re seeing all the favorable numbers toward McSally.”

Sounds like the Senate could become fillibuster proof next year...

I’ve wondered how this could be remotely close:

The Republican is an actual real female warrior, A-10 pilot, well-spoken and intelligent. Talk about a role model for anyone, let alone a role-model for women.

The Democrat is a pink-tutu-wearing card-carrying communist who protested US troops as baby-killers.

It’s about a stark a contrast between sanity and insanity as I’ve ever seen.

They really overplayed their hand in the Kavanaugh situation didn’t they?

I think there are critical masses of things that have turned people off from the Democrats.

One positive issue is the state of the economy, and voters crediting Trump and Republicans for the tax bill and the conditions leading to a good economy.

Then there are other negatives, such as Republicans getting kicked out of restaurants. That has happened multiple times. People feel revulsion at Maxine Waters urging to confront and hassle people in public places.

I think some people are fearful, of what will happen if Democrats are back in power.

Icing on the cake or statements such as Hillary Clinton saying that the Republicans are not civil, what’s the Democrats who showed an incredible lack of Civility in the Kavanagh situation.

Liberals often preach how love trumps hate, yet we see such hatred emanating from their side, which turns off regular American voters.

Folks, it is NOT so much the Senate we should be concerned with but the HOUSE.

“The Kavanaugh effect strikes again! A couple of Trump rallies in Arizona should seal the deal. Eat your heart out Sabato!”

According to Wikipedia, President Trump is going to have one rally in AZ, time and place to be determined. Of course everything could change.

Wish that the event could be in Prescott Valley instead of Phoenix but the local airport is too small for AF One. Last time he came to Prescott Valley 20k people (out of an area population of 125k) showed up for an arena that holds 7000.

If the Republicans actually hold or pick up seats, expect violence to escalate. It won’t be just insane screaming.

Keep the faith, but STILL be ready to crawl over miles of broken glass to get to the polls, as the Democrats launch a last-ditch effort to rampage through the streets to create another “Kristallnacht”.

It is just what the Social Justice Warriors do, they cannot help themselves. Suppress the conservatives, churn up the vote fraud to the max. Bring in the vote from the graveyards and the barrios. Numbers matter, it is of no consequence whether the vote is cast by an eligible voter or not.

The communist party’s endorsement of Sinema may have scared off a lot of her potential voters.

True. But given a choice, I’d much rather keep the Senate than the House, because of federal judges, Supreme Court, cabinet nominees etc etc. If we lose the US Senate, we are finished. President Trump would never get ANY federal judges confirmed, let alone a Supreme Court nominee confirmation.
Having said all that, we will keep the house. Check out the new Rasmussen generic ballot that just came out this morning:

With less than a month to Election Day, the Generic Congressional Ballot is now dead even.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone and online survey finds that 45% of Likely U.S. Voters would choose the Democratic candidate if the elections for Congress were held today. Another 45% would opt for the Republican. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and eight percent (8%) are undecided.
————————-
At this time in 2014, prior to the last non-presidential year congressional elections, Democrats held a 41% to 39% lead. But Republicans went on to gain control of the Senate in those elections and increase their majority in the House of Representatives.

The Democrat is a pink-tutu-wearing card-carrying communist who protested US troops as baby-killers.

And when our troops kill babies it is accidental, an unfortunate consequence of war. Democrats kill babies deliberately; it is their foremost sacrament.
