Obama Had a Secret Plan in Case Trump Rejected 2016 Election Results

In October 2016, senior staff in the Obama White House discussed what they should do if Hillary Clinton won the November election and Donald Trump refused to accept the result as legitimate. They had cause to be worried. At that time, Trump had openly speculated that the election might be “rigged.” During his final debate with Clinton on October 19, he said that his opponent “should never have been allowed to run” and declined to answer the question of whether he would concede. “I’ll keep you in suspense,” the Republican nominee said.
“It wasn’t a hypothetical,” Ben Rhodes, Obama’s senior aide and speechwriter, told Intelligencer. “Trump was already saying it on the campaign trail.”
The Obama White House plan, according to interviews with Rhodes and Jen Psaki, Obama’s communications director, called for congressional Republicans, former presidents, and former Cabinet-level officials including Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice, to try and forestall a political crisis by validating the election result. In the event that Trump tried to dispute a Clinton victory, they would affirm the result as well as the conclusions reached by the U.S. intelligence community that Russian interference in the election sought to favor Trump, and not Clinton. Some Republicans were already aware of Russian interference from intelligence briefings given to leaders from both parties during the chaotic months before the election. “We wanted to handle the Russia information in a way that was as bipartisan as possible,” Rhodes said.
The existence of the postelection plan has not been previously reported. A July 2017 op-ed by Obama’s chief of staff, Denis McDonough, refers to Obama directing his staff to “prepare possible responses” to claims of Russian interference in the election.

My bet is that they knew Trump would announce before the public did.

We're only fooled to think they're hypocrites, and worse, that when that moniker catches them squarely and properly, that it would have any effect whatsoever on them. They could care less whether you squeal "hypocrite."
If their actions have a calculated return of an increase in POWER, they'll go for it. What a Conservative says to or about them, has a far, far less chance of effecting a change in their POWER status, thus, is to be ignored from the get-go.
That’s where the Dems calculated they could put up a stink that would keep those non-natural-born citizen facts from ever being scrutinized in the light of day.
For the most part, they calculated correctly.
It involved corrupt judges, obfuscating lawyers paid to disseminate disinformation, false workings of Hawaii State Health Department directors, registrar and their administrative workers, at least one Hawaii Governors and attorney general, Perkins Coie (particularly Bob Bauer and Judith Corley), the willing media, the FAA, NTSB, the military, and by far not the least, the “intelligence” community, their paid informants and plants.
Yes... Algorezeera had lined up 100’s of college “students” trained in questioning voted ballot’s validity and sent them to FL. How do I know— we were there at the recount. Pretending to be “one of them” but local— got the whole story. The gorezeera campaign paid for airfare, and hotels for these little weasels to come and sit alongside repub loyalists and question each ballot they could. The ballots were held up for view by.... COUNTY workers (to include the lawn mowing and trimming crews, sewer workers etc. who had NO clue). The gorezeeras had a prepared form for each ballot they could question— describing what the ballot had “wrong” (like being voted for Bush.. lol), and consisted of hundreds of affidavits submitted to the judge overseeing the process— to rule on them!! This is HOW democrats want votes to be counted/decided by one of their judges.
Next day- the repub local organizers got a complete challenge sheet of our own (we didn’t have one). From— me. Having a photographic memory made it easier to develop on office computer and print out several hundred— to also be copied by the recount repub committee and put to use right away. It worked... negating what these little bastards were trying to do— stack the recount with affidavits for a judge— and STEAL the vote. That and a day later “finding” sealed precinct ballot bags “mislaid” in the trunk of a democratic sleazeball’s car. Kid you not.
They didn’t do any of this in response to Trump comments. The day before the Oct 19 debate , before Trump said anything about accepting the election results, Peter Strzok and friends were already franticly trying to get FISA warrants on Carter Page, etc.

Oddly enough, the media never asked Hillary if she would accept the results of the election. They thought it was a forgone conclusion, so they didn’t feel the need to ask her.

Never forget that Rhodes was a fiction novelist before joining the Obama admin.
