Matthews: ‘Taste of Mussolini’ with How Trump Acts at Rallies
brietbart ^ | 10/11/2018 | Ian Hanchett

Posted on 10/12/2018 6:17:42 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

On Thursday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Hardball,” host Chris Matthews stated that there’s “a taste of Mussolini” in President Trump’s behavior at his rallies in the way that Trump walks around “with a tie that’s 8 feet long,” his coat open, and “clapping for himself.”

Matthews said, “[T]here’s a taste of Mussolini here with a guy walking around with a tie that’s 8 feet long, coat open, making — clapping for himself. I know the Chinese do this, you clap for yourself in that culture. But he’s clapping away about — is he applauding himself and his presentation here?

Mussolini wore a long tie and kept his coat open, so did Trump, therefore Trump = Mussolini. Brilliant analysis.

Making progress.
We’ve gone from “literally Hitler” to “a taste of Mussolini”.
Wonder if we’ll get a “tingle down the leg” by 2024.

I almost wish Trump were like Hitler, Mussolini or Tojo in that he’d throw people like Chris Matthews into a rough detention camp. Oh wait, the hero of Chris’s party, Franklin Roosevelt, did that.

they do not see the likeness of Obama with his nose in the air and arrogant stance looking more like the mousolini than a man who enjoys freedom loving people.

Mussolini was a fascist dictator. See the difference?

And all changes to the engineered norm came to power after an inane political vacuum was established to overthrow sound constitutional republics or inept monarchies.

Um, Mussolini was GREATLY admired by FDR in the early days of the “New Deal”, because in that backward and corruption-ridden country of Italy, “he made the trains run on time”.

The “New Deal”, in fact, was patterned a great deal on the paternalistic state conceived by the “Iron Chancellor” of Germany, Otto von Bismarck. which organized the entire society on lines of a military chain of command, with the forces of capitalism strictly harnessed to the demands of the oligarchy at the top. It was not a large intellectual leap from this mindset to that of the Fascism of Italy or the National Socialism of Germany. And at its root, all these governing philosophies (including International Communism) were derived from interpretations of the writings of Karl Marx.

Mussolini, in fact, was very much a full-blooded Communist before he began a more nationalistic approach to organizing “The State” as an intermediary to full control of all aspects of society to “the people”.

Somehow, “the people” got written out of the equation pretty early on.

FDR PRAISED MUSSOLINI AND LOVED FASCISM

Roosevelt himself once called Mussolini “admirable,” adding that he was “deeply impressed by what he has accomplished.” Mussolini returned the compliment with adulatory praise, writing of Roosevelt’s many reforms, “Reminiscent of Fascism is the principle that the state no longer leaves the economy to its own devices … Without question, the mood accompanying this sea change resembles that of Fascism.”

WOW, what deep thinkers they have on their side.

The only thing Mathews recognizes is that the Dimwits have nothing that even comes close to matching the master communicator. Who out there can conduct what is basically an impromptu, non-stop ‘conversation’ with his supporter for an hour. I’m sure Trump’s rallies do nothing for Mathews’ leg, but they send shivers down his spine as he watches a truly dynamic leader in action.

No doubt, if he see the obvious.
