Facebook is a monopoly, overdue for regulation, and it is also an entity which deleted all pro-Republican pages less than 30 days before an election: a Federal elections violation (illegal contribution to the Democrats). Obama's DOJ would put 100 lawyers to war against a conservative Facebook doing the same, and Trump needs to destroy them. NOW.

No. Everyone who has tried to start up an alternative to fascistbook has been bankrupted by naziberg and his minions.
MeWe and other sites like Minds are fine alternatives. Unfortunately, their membership is infinitesimal compared to Facebook and Twitter. There are a lot of Conservatives that are on those platforms (because they too spend way too much of their time sharing cat videos with their friends and families). Until the alternative sites have gained enough mass, they are not really alternatives. Also, some other alternative sites have been effectively demonetized because merchant services and banks have closed their accounts because they are Conservative (and the banks are definitely not!)
I wonder if the investment brought him any income.
Of course Brian has his own website. He’s got several, for various reasons. Facebook isn’t where his website is. Facebook is where his audience is. Clicks from Facebook to his websites account for the vast majority of his sites’ traffic. He’s invested money to promote his Facebook page, which in turn promotes his website.
It’s like an ad in a newspaper for a magazine subscription. The magazine pays for ads in the newspaper, to bring more people to the magazine.
I’ve been doing internet stuff for 25 years, and Facebook stuff for over 10 years. I work with websites and online marketing. This is my world. Sometimes I forget that most people don’t fully understand the relationship between businesses and Facebook.
