if liberals pay attention, they are about to learn a hard lesson. being native american is not so much about “race” but about affiliation. you are either in the tribe or not and Cherokees allow you to be in regardless of blood percentage, if you are a direct lineal descent from a tribal member. the current rolls were made in about 1920, and that is where you go to find out if you are eligible to be a member or not.
all of this talk about her miniscule blood percentage is truly non-sensical, not legally relevant and is in fact degrading to the Cherokees who know the rules that govern whether or not someone is Cherokee.
Didn’t she make the “claim” on Federal Forms at Harvard? Wouldn’t that be “lying to the government”?
This is why my parents always said to “tell the truth”...then you don’t have to make up a dozen more lies trying to justify the original lie.

Republicans should extrapolate Warren’s doucheness to all democrats to help swing the indian nations’ votes. Could help a lot in states like AZ, NM, ND etc.
