For the first time in US Army Forces Command, or FORSCOM, history, a woman will be leading the largest command in the Army, representing 776,000 soldiers and 96,000 civilians.

Glad in her job she’d never had to carry a wounded soldier out of harms way. She would not qualify for that.But her administrative skills free up a male officer to lead men into battle.
