Muslim convert? When they have a suspect I want the press to summarize their rap sheet to give the public the idea as to whether "it" was maybe a mistaken ID or just another crime in a long string of crimes over the years.

A refresh of Mewzilla’s earlier post shows that the perp has been named now, Raheem Davis. Guess he converted to Islam in a previous stint?
Sure is! I know a guy, he’s the son-in-law of a good friend, whose father was a police officer and died in very nearly the same circumstances, about 35 years ago. He went on to become a SWAT team guy, and very often was undercover. Now one of his sons is also a police officer. Truly they are a family that was completely impacted by the murder of the father/grandfather. Good people, and I’m glad they’re on our side!

While I know there are bad cops and some good cops that have acted badly I am constantly surprised to read of these circumstances:

The reserve and professionalism of the LEOS in so many instances when the perp has clearly taken one of their own is remarkable.
