A couple weeks ago there was an ambush of police officers in Florence, South Carolina, and now this in North Carolina.
All so tragic, and no doubt that the War on Cops is real.

Prayers up for my brother officer and his family.

Can he have a speedy trial and justice? Any jailer, medical personnel or cleaning crew are at risk of death when keeping a snake with venom close to them. I believe in Redemption. One sentence is justice; the other is grace.

I’m a YUGE LIVE PD fan. I think of this scenario every time I watch an officer walk up to the window of a car he/she has stopped. Which is what patrol officers do, day in and day out, hundreds if not thousands of times during their careers.
Capital punishment is a legal penalty in the U.S. state of North Carolina.
Thank GOD!

"WRAL-TV reported that Conner was credited with helping save lives after a 2011 fiery head-on crash in Columbus County. The station reported Conner used an extinguisher to put out flames and that he and another trooper provided first aid while waiting for paramedics."

The suspect as found after an extensive search and taken into custody without incident, authorities said. How that should have read is "The suspect was found after an extensive search and succumbed to "too numerous to count" gunshots while resisting arrest(whether he did or not!)
Used to be if you killed a cop, you almost never made it to trial, at least not with out a long painful hospital stay.

"I'm getting sick of reading these stories"
A lot of these deaths lie on Obama's and the progressive movement's doorstep.
While I know there are bad cops and some good cops that have acted badly I am constantly surprised to read of these circumstances:
"The suspect as found after an extensive search and taken into custody without incident, authorities said. "
The reserve and professionalism of the LEOS in so many instances when the perp has clearly taken one of their own is remarkable.
