Why in the hell would the school cafeteria even have kangaroo meat to use-do they order it to be flown in from some Australian kangaroo farm? I would think it would be cheaper to use beef in the chili-aren’t there plenty of cows in Nebraska?
I know McDonalds burgers no longer say “100% US Beef” because they were forced to import some lean meat from Australia and put in in the mix to get the fat content down to satisfy the Federal Health Nazis.
McDonalds says it’s Australian beef.
At least that’s their story, and they’re sticking to it.
Reminds me of an episode of married with children where Al gets another job working in the kitchen of a fast food burger place. A burger order is called out to Al and he responds, “People out there dying for kangaroo, huh?” To which his employer responds, “That’s right. Tell the world, Bundy.”
It is probably kangaroo meat they are serving at McD’s-or maybe Monitor lizard-yummmm...
I guess the stupid health nazis haven’t been keeping up with the trend to paleo diet with natural animal fat, butter etc-none of that margarine or veggie oil crap-animal fat is not unhealthy and doesn’t cause obesity-the processed grain and oil does...

The students felt a little down under the weather.
[ My daughter was saved once by Potter, NE! Driving east from college in Laramie, WY. Coming home for a holiday in bad weather. She got behind a state snow plow and ended up off the road in the median. SEVERAL people in the town worked together to help her out, fed her, put her up overnight. They were amazing.
She sent a thank you note to “People of Potter, NE” and addressed it to “The Café”... or along that line. ]
I have family in that area, good decent people, shame what Cabelaes did recently...
