“If these people take their case all the way to the Supreme Court then maybe it finally will be.”

That’s what the article from Slate I posted in an above comment showed - some on the left also think that’s a possibility.
But their lawyers could also dig into the Commission itself and it’s members for any displays of anti-Christian sentiment or conflicts of interest. e.g. a member(s) involved with homosexual organizations. A trip through social media would be a good place to start.
When the Masterpiece Cakes case was decided by SCOTUS, Kennedy was the fifth vote (with the four liberals being against the baker), and if Kennedy wanted a narrow ruling then a narrow ruling it would be. The cases that are percolating up the courts in which liberal judges and circuit panels have refused to respect the Freedom of Religion and Freedom of Speech of bakers, photographers, etc. will be decided by a SCOTUS in which the four conservatives who favored a broader ruling for individual freedom are joined by Kavanaugh, and I am confident that the b1tch-slapping of loser courts will be severe.
Right. Protected Classes are trumping first amendment rights. This shall not stand.
Or, make Christians a protected class...
They are. In all states with anti-discrimination laws you cannot discriminate on religious beliefs.
I will be stunned of this makes it past the 8th Circuit.
It’s already decided.
This state will be forced to change their law, or not enforce it at all.
Minnesota. Wanna bet they don’t force m*slims to make films that promote gay crap?
Somalis bring sxxt with them wherever they go.
There we go, more accurate..?
Unbelievable.
The Supreme Court has not ruled that film makers cannot exercise their religious beliefs...nor have they ruled that their free speech rights of religious expression have been abrogated....
Wow...you make a great sheep.
The article is unclear, is this a business being forced to film a same-sex wedding, or being directed by the state to make promotional films about same-sex weddings.
Both things are bad, but the second one is far worse from a rights perspective, akin to forcing the National Right to Life Committee make promotional material about Planned Parenthood.
priceless!
