I'm not "complicit", Ms Schumer, because I've done no wrong by choosing to not interrupt a sporting event to start a political argument, and I've done no wrong by talking about this political issue in more appropriate forums. Further, the entire BLM movement is inherently racist, and I refuse to support racism. When police do take lethal force in inappropriate ways, that is something that affects everyone, not just black people. However, BLM's actions grotesquely mischaracterize the situation, inject their own racism into the debate, intensely ramp up knee-jerk emotional outbursts of violence and looting long before proper investigations can be completed, and they do absolutely nothing productive to address the issue. The "kneelers" have been a "thing" for almost 2 years now... exactly how much progress has been made in that time? None. Therefore, I choose to continue the debate in other more appropriate places. That's how.
