We had clouds last night so the temp didn’t drop as early or as much as tonight. No clouds now. Thankfully no wind. It blew pretty hard last night.
Those poor kittens don’t know what to think of the chill, do they? I reckon any critter’s first winter is rough for them.
Indeed, the tootsies are sock-covered and they ain’t happy ‘bout it. LOL! But the days of flip flops are over for a while. :-(
I had to LOL when Peaches and Ginger dashed outside for their first snow! Quite a reaction to it. They were really quick to get the job done.
I don’t think they went out much that winter at all. :)
Well, it’s kind of early, but after waking up early this morning, I’m pretty sleepy.
I am going to try my experiment with the kitties tomorrow when I feed them. I did a trial run tonight and after looking at me like I lost my mind, they went into the carrier to eat. Tomorrow, whoever is in there gets the door slammed and they go to the vet. I’ve already asked my friend if it’s ok just to bring them with no appointment. Cross your fingers. :)

Yeah, kittehs’ first experiences with snow can be a hoot to watch. LOL!
Some seem to like it though. Our Frodo would walk around the yard while it came down and would look like a walking snowball as it piled up on him. Come to think of it, the silly cat liked rain too. The others would be on the porch or under some other shelter and he’d be out in the yard every time, rain or snow.
Percy likes snow, too, though not rain. When I go out to get snow pix, he tags along and has a grand time.

Weather can’t seem to make up its mind.
Did you get boots for the winter?
Not yet. I’m hoping this week to shop for boots — both for snow & for everyday.
October began with the AC on; now I am worried about frost.
